Eastenders webcam - christmas tree?

Is Eastenders gearing up for filming the festive period already? There is what looks like a christmas tree outside of the salon. If they film roughly 8 weeks in advance that would bee mid November and that is normally when christmas stuff normally starts.

Any thoughts?

Considering the shops are getting their Xmas stuff out, I wouldn't be surprised !!!

Yep most probably. it's normally around mid September every year, I only remember because its a week after my birthday I first saw it about 3 years ago and every year since it's been around September time

Edit:
And of course this doesn't mean they are filming christmas day or even December scenes they might be filming november as Christmas decorations are traditionally up for around a month and half before Christmas these days.

They don't just film 8 weeks in advance. They could be filming scenes to air in December right now and then film scenes in Novemeber to air in the same episode, know what I mean? They don't film in order. When Danniella Westbrook left in January 2010 she said he actually shot her exit scenes in October 2009 - like 4 months in advance. While other scenes for that same episode would have been shot just weeks in advance.

They may just be filming mid november, i don't mean they're filming christmas day etc now just that they're filming stuff that will include christmas decorations etc.

Towards this time of the year (well a little later) they film a little more in advance to allow the cast and crew 2 weeks off at xmas
