Sue Perkins "Hello, my name is Sue Perkins and I am a comedienne and television presenter, perhaps most known for presenting The Great British Bake Off. I am slightly worried about having to face Craig after each of my dances, but I suppose we all have to..."

Lisa Kudrow "Hi, I'm Lisa Kudrow and I am an American actress most famous for playing Phoebe Buffay in Friends. I have no idea what to expect from Strictly, but hopefully it won't be humiliation!"

Frida Lyngstad "Hello there, my name is Frida Lyngstad and I'm a Swedish singer from the band ABBA. I am really nervous about being on Strictly because I don't know if I still have any musicality in me at all!"

Now it's time to meet our first male celebrities - Rick Astley, Jake Humphrey and Robert Lindsay!

Rick Astley "Hello, I'm Rick Astley and I am a singer, most famous for my 1987 number one hit Never Gonna Give You Up. I'm definitely looking forward to Strictly - everything from the tight shirts to the new choreography and the added sequin!"

Jake Humphrey "Hi, my name is Jake Humphrey, and I am a television presenter, famous for presenting various sports programmes. I'd like to say I'm confident about Strictly, but that would probably be the biggest porky I'll ever tell."

Robert Lindsay "Hello, I'm Robert Lindsay and I am an actor. I'm probably most well known for my roles in Citizen Smith and My Family. I hope I'll be a reasonable dancer, but I don't want to raise my expectations too high before it even starts!"

Now it's time to meet our next fab females - Julie Hesmondhalgh, Karina Bryant and Peaches Geldof!

Julie Hesmondhalgh "Hi I'm Julie Hesmondhalgh and I'm most famous for playing Hayley Cropper in Coronation Street. I'm really excited for the challenge of Strictly - I know it will be difficult, but I have a big "bring it on" attitude!"

Karina Bryant "Hi, my name is Karina Bryant. I'm probably most famous for winning a Bronze medal at last year's Olympics for the sport of Judo. I'm really nervous, because I've never danced in my life so learning a completely new skill will be hard!"

Peaches Geldof "Hello, I'm Peaches Geldof and I'm a model, but I'm also known for my television work. I have a range of emotions right now - I'm feeling excited but nervous at the same time; hopefully my nerves don't get the better of me!"


Now it's time for our glamorous girls to meet the man of their dreams.

Ronnie O'Sullivan "Hi I'm Ronnie O'Sullivan and I'm a former snooker player. Right now I know that I have two left feet so to potentially become a fantastic dancer is an opportunity I'm really looking forward to!"

Brian Cox "Hello, my name is Brian Cox and I'm a particle Physicist. I'm most famous for presenting several Science shows. I'm thoroughly excited for Strictly - I know the training will be hard but hopefully I'll have the chance to shine (haha) on the dancefloor!"

Marco Pierre White "Hi, my name is Marco Pierre White and I am a chef. I don't really care if I make a fool out of myself on Strictly because I know I'll be trying my hardest just to get the routines right, and hopefully improve in the process."

David Witts "Hello, I'm David Witts, I'm an actor and I'm probably known most for playing Joey Branning on EastEnders. I really am thrilled to be taking part in Strictly, because it's completely out of my comfort zone. I just hope it all goes to plan!"
