Congratulations Lisa & Ian, Manchester have chosen you as their tour date winner. How does it feel?

It feels great, because I know how hard Ian worked on re-choreographing our routine. It's been so much fun tonight, and I feel like it's really paid off. I'm really proud of what we've achieved.

A huge congratulations to Lisa & Ian. If you could now take to the floor for the closing dance to Mmmbop by Hanson.

They will both decide who will be crowned the Birmingham tour date champions. Without further ado, let's meet the stars of our show...

Particle physicist Brian Cox and his dance partner Kristina Rhianoff!
Comedienne and television presenter Sue Perkins and her dance partner Robin Windsor!
Sports presenter Jake Humphrey and his dance partner Natalie Lowe!
Coronation Street actress Julie Hesmondhalgh and her dance partner Pasha Kovalev!
From EastEnders, David Witts and his dance partner Katya Virshilas!
And finally, actress Lisa Kudrow and her dance partner Ian Waite!

Last Time

When Natasha danced the Salsa in Glasgow on Friday, the judges criticised her for not giving enough effort. Natasha tells us “the judges comments did kind of disappoint me a little, because I did really go for it. Tonight I just have to give it my all, and hopefully they will be impressed.”

Dance
Salsa - Girls Aloud - The Show

Comments
Craig - Natasha, you are sex on legs. That was one sexy Salsa!
Len - I still didn’t get excited throughout the dance. The choreography is a bit too safe for you, Natasha.
Bruno - Oh my, darling, once agin, that was gorgeous! Your arm-ography is exquisite! You are one Latin chicka!

Scores
Craig - 10
Len - 9
Bruno - 10

Total - 29/30

"The nine was to be expected. I'm not disappointed at all!"

Up next are Lisa and Ian!

Last Time

Getting a perfect score for their Viennese Waltz last time has lifted Lisa’s confidence about tonight. She says “getting tens across the board has raised my confidence a little. I’m not expecting to get that score again, but it’s great knowing I’ve impressed the judges already with this dance.”

Dance
Viennese Waltz - Doris Day - Whatever Will Be, Will Be

Comments
Craig - It wasn’t as polished and precise as the first time round, but I still think this is a gorgeous dance.
Len - Oh Lisa, so close! You did mess up going into the final fleckerl, which is such a shame. But other than that, amazing.
Bruno - Oh no, no, no! You were floating around in perfection and then that last fifteen seconds hit! That is such a pity, because you are stunning.

Scores
Craig - 9
Len - 9
Bruno - 9

Total - 27/30

"I'm very happy with how that went. I did stumble, but that's natural!"

Brian and Kristina will now perform!

Brian & Kristina

Last Time

When Brian danced the Cha Cha Cha in Newcastle on Saturday, Kristina experienced a dress malfunction which caused Brian to forget a lot of the steps. Brian tells us about the incident, saying “I have no idea what happened. Something went wrong and I went completely blank. I’m praying this doesn’t happen in Birmingham!”

Dance
Cha Cha Cha - MIKA - Grace Kelly

Comments
Craig - Thank goodness you took out that gyration section in the first half - that was horrendous. It’s still very flat footed, but not as bad as in Newcastle.
Len - Well, the Cha Cha Cha is a very tricky dance, especially for the male celebrities, and I think you coped rather well. Good job!
Bruno - I must say, Kristina, it was very wise of you to simplify the choreography, because it wasn’t too good first time! Brian, not a bad attempt.

Scores
Craig - 6
Len - 8
Bruno - 8

Total - 22/30

Brian looks slightly glum after receiving his scores

Now we have Sue and Robin!

Sue & Robin

Couples Choice

Sue and Robin’s third dance on tour will be the Quickstep. Sue tells us why they chose this dance, saying “Artem and I originally danced the Quickstep to Hawaii Five-O in Movie and TV week. It did result in us being eliminated, but I’m hoping tonight has more of a positive outcome than that!”

Dance
Quickstep - Hawaii Five-O - Theme Song

Comments
Craig - I was a bit apprehensive about this dance being in an arena, but you did deliver it well. Your top line still needs a bit of work, however.
Len - I do love a good old Ballroom dance, and you gave me that. You lost your posture a bit, but I can’t deny that this is a great dance.
Bruno - Sue, you just keep on giving! Fast, fun and furious! There were still a few stumbles, but this is still one of your best dances.

Scores
Craig - 8
Len - 8
Bruno - 9

Total - 25/30

Sue says "I'm absolutely gobsmacked by the judges scores these last few days, I'm pleasantly astonished!"

Julie and Pasha are next to dance!

Julie & Pasha

Last Time

Julie talks to us about her and Pasha’s Rumba performance last night; “I thought it quite well actually. And then we walked over to the judges. Craig said it was “dreadful”, which did upset me a little. We’re re-dancing it tonight, so hopefully he’ll think the opposite of that tonight!”

Dance
Rumba - Jennifer Rush - Power Of Love

Comments
Craig - Oh my… it was better than last night, but only slightly better. It’s still not very good.
Len - Well I think you did a great job. It was an improvement on last night, you looked much more comfortable and it had emotion!
Bruno - Your acting abilities in these dances is, seriously, fantastic, but the technique still leaves a lot to be desired. But, I liked it.

Scores
Craig - 4
Len - 7
Bruno - 7

Total - 18/30

Julie asks "what more can I do!?"

Our penultimate couple tonight is David and Katya!
Stuart25

David & Katya

Last Time

On Friday, all three judges picked up on David’s lack of attack and energy in the Jive. Katya tells us “I do disagree with the judges. David’s kicks were very sharp, clean and precise and I don’t know what more he could have done. We’ll just have to give it two hundred percent in Birmingham.”

Dance
Jive - Travis Tritt - Trouble

Comments
Craig - It’s all there, but you just need to work on polishing the finishing touches. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, I love the routine.
Len - The Jive is perfect for you, and perfect for an arena this size! Nothing but perfection.
Bruno - Craig’s right, it still needs the cherry on top in order to become perfection, in my opinion. But that Jive is up there with the best.

Scores
Craig - 9
Len - 10
Bruno - 9

Total - 28/30

"I had the time of my life out there. I gave it as much as I can, and we got a ten from Len!"

So that means our final couple tonight is Jake and Natalie!

Jake & Natalie

Last Time

Jake tells us how he feels about re-performing the American Smooth. “In Glasgow, Craig said my posture was a little dodgy. We’ve worked on it quite a lot over the last few days, so I’m hoping to go out and really impress him tonight. Fingers crossed!”

Dance
American Smooth - Michael Buble - Come Dance With Me

Comments
Craig - Classy, elegant, gorgeous darling!
Len - What a fitting end to a fantastic show. You are a great Ballroom dancer, Jake!
Bruno - Do not underestimate your abilities Jake, because that is one of the best traditional American Smooths I have ever seen on this show.

Scores
Craig - 9
Len - 10
Bruno - 10

Total - 29/30

"It's eh... definitely an improvement," Jake says sarcastically
Stuart25
30-12-2013
So tonight’s leaderboard is as follows:

= Natasha Bedingfield & James Jordan - 29
3 David Witts & Katya Virshilas - 28
4 Lisa Kudrow & Ian Waite - 27
5 Sue Perkins & Robin Windsor - 25
6 Brian Cox & Kristina Rhianoff - 22
7 Julie Hesmondhalgh & Pasha Kovalev - 18

Now it’s over to you!

Please start voting by sending me a PM ranking your top three couples from 3 (favourite) to 1 (third favourite). These votes will be combined with the judges scores to determine which couple will win tonight’s Newcastle date.

Voting closes at approximately 22.15, after the group dance performance.

The results show will begin at 22.00.

Stay tuned as our professional dancers will be taking to the floor to impress with a passionate Paso Doble and Ellie Goulding will be in the arena giving us a musical performance. And if you haven’t made your mind up over who you’d like to vote for, all our couples will be involved in a group Quickstep routine in the results show.

Until then, keep dancing!

Congratulations Jake & Natalie, Birmingham have chosen you as their tour date winner. How does it feel?

I can't describe how amazing it feels. It's so great to finally be able to say thank you for all the hard work Natalie's put in to give us three fantastic routines to perform on tour. Thank you so much to everybody who voted.

A huge congratulations to Jake & Natalie. If you could now take to the floor for the closing dance to Last Dance by Donna Summer.
