She has the gift of misusing many words to say nothing, every opportunity she made a speech.

She ha known it was McCrae's hat since earlier in the season. Remember when Amada was on the block and threatening to take the hat, GM said that she would tell DR that is is her property because she and McCrae made a fair trade for the hat. She even said, "it's McCrae's hat, he gave it to me." She has known all along.

That makes it even more puzzling that McCrae loaned it to Nick if he had traded it with GM and GM spent the rest of the series wearing the cap in homage to Nick. She really is a desperate nutjob, a showmance was probably part of her plan and being the grieving widow worked out well for her..

Nick definitely wore that hat and I suppose that's all that mattered to GM.

I understand all the flak about this season, but I thought it was very watchable apart from the last couple of weeks, but that's a structure problem of the format, not the HGs faults.

Watchable in a car crash horror way; it was fascinating how a couple who stayed in bed a lot of the time, rarely washed, socialised minimally around fag breaks, had Andy service them with info to plan the next move, had Spencer be their pawn so often it set a new record and established a "go with the house" mentality for voting. The power couple dominated the whole mid season on one first HOH endurance win and a loud confident mouth.

edit

I was also horrified but amused how Amanda and MC assumed position on the HOH bed whenever they went to HOH room to organise plans for the week. The only time it did not happen was during Elissa's HOH.

So now I can finally return to these threads knowing I can't get spoiled.

Of course the ending was spoiled within the program anyway with a juror saying well before the final vote that Andy had the most votes in the jury house anyway. Also showing Gina Marie with a big smile on the sofa it certainly looked like she got through that first part of the HoH. And obviously Andy is far more articulate than Gina Marie so he was always going to answer the questions better.

Now I was finally, after a week, able to see some of the final HoH (the previous HLs really doesn't count) I was a bit disappointed with it. The first part was alright. But the second part was probably even more physical than the first. I didn't care for Spencer anyway but he had little chance with the physicality involved in those parts. The final part didn't really give anyone much of a chance to comeback and seemed more about the visual spectacle of the scales as much as anything.

Overall I thought it was much better than last season (silly coach twist) and was watchable. The audience for it was probably less good. Not overjoyed with Andy as a winner, I thought he did hitch a ride with Amanda.
