A few questions:

Why was it portrayed as comedic?

Was there a mention why Jacqui, Bart and Michaela didn't go?

I just found it weird out of all the family Myra's got, only Nana, Mercedes,Carmel, Theresa, Phoebe and John Paul were the only ones who went?

Do Jacqui and Michaela know Myra is still alive?

The McQueens have their 'comedy', even for tragic storylines, I really don't find it funny though.

Jacqui and Bart are on the run, although with Brendan gone, there is no reason for Bart to stay away (though I hope he does), I don't think Michaela has been mentioned.

Only JP and Jim know that Myra is alive and I assumed that Myra had gone to live with Jacqui, it would make sense.

I think Myra said she was goinfg to stay with Jacqui and Jacqui wouldn't risk returning to the villiage knowing full well her mother was alive, and Michaela might be difficult to get hold off because she's on tour?

There was also no sign and no mention of Kathleen or of whichever of Bart's parents is still alive (if either).

I think only Mercedes knows where Jacqui is.
