I still love her but admittedly she's become a shockingly written character, all her children are gone and many people on here are suggesting Jimmy and Gillian have a better screen presence than Jimmy and Helen. Over the past year Jack has become more likeable again but Frankie's likeability has hugely deteriorated. So is Frankie, a character who has been on the show for 11 years still relevant?

Yes.
She's my favourite Hollyoaks character.

I actually find her believable.

Not a big fan of her, but the show wouldn't be the same without her

If she splits with Jack she will be irrelevant, and don't see how she will work without him tbh. Hoping they don't break up though.

When she left Price Slice last year I thought we'd get her more scenes behind the bar serving the regulars, but, sadly that hasn't come to fruition. Maybe another job is in order.... maybe working in the launderette with Martha?

I lly detest Frankie but I don't think HO would be the same without her, I hate the way she always blames everyone else all the time, it was great seeing the Rosco's look daggers and lay into her over the babies death.

She's so inconsitent everytime she had a deep moment and grows up she returns to being a shrill hypocrite - she's on repeat like Mercedes.

I want Debbie back to give her someone of hers to bounce with. They missed an opportunity building an onscreen friendship with her and Myra.

I think its really sad they've decided to have her cheat on Jack in this ridiculous affair storyline. They've been married for 8 years and are the shows only long term stable couple. What a shame after all these years the writers have decided to ruin it and make them just as bad as everybody else.

Hasn't the actress (along with Tony) been in HO the longest?

No, the actor who plays Jack has been on the show since 96 and hasn't left since.

She is the longest serving consecutive female I believe. Mandy done 10 years, then 6 months, then 1 year but had time off in between. Steph done March 00 - Nov 10. Frankie joined October 2002 so she's close to 11 consecutive years.

After knocking Lindsey down they could taken the opportunity to make Frankie more likeable and instead they are making her even worse!

8 years without cheating or divorce is one of the longest in any soap.. After Roy and Hayley..
It's stupid having her cheat now

Of course she is, Frankie is part of the shows History - In fact, she's the only realistic character left in the whole show

Not a fan of Frankie, always find her very judgemental and hypocritical also she was a bitch towards Esther.

How could they get rid of the best mum of the show? Besides, Frankie's opinions are always the proper ones anyway.

Frankie is more relevant than the likes of Will, Ash and Theresa on the show. She's always been very protective of her kids and quite nasty and bitter, but she's got a soft side to her. I'd hate it if they axed her although it's a shame that HO felt they had to go down the affair route.

I don't want her to continue with Jack (mainly because I want Jack and Sandy to get together - I love their chemistry and I want to see Sandy as the Dog's landlady; that would be awesome) but I wouldn't want Frankie to leave, either. She's an infuriating character but as others have said, she is realistic and the show wouldn't be the same without her.
