I've said before that I think Debbie has gone as far as she can go as a character, and while she's done some unforgivable things, I really believe that there is a way back for her after tonight. If she softens up from now on and becomes a mother, then I think things could be good for her!

The way she ran out, screaming for her dad got me.

I filled up when she ran into Cain's arms like that.

Hate her character normally, but Charley and Debbie were both brilliant tonight.

Heh.

That was totally her show tonight altho I noticed she was only billed second in the cast after Jeff! (Who I love, but it was her show).

Is it not cast in order of appearance? (I don't know but I think a lot of shows do that).

Yes despite all the drama with the police and guns that was the highlight of the episode for me.

Loved the bit at the end where Debbie showed raw emotion when being comforted by Cain and then Charity, great acting

She's always had a heart and feelings, she just put up a brick wall in front of them. There's been little snippets here and there showing her with that wall down, so you can see its just a face she puts on.

She was totally fantastic tonight though, really really great acting, and shows just how good she is when she's allowed to be. ED need to break down that wall, it makes her too one dimensional.

That was a nice moment at the end between the pair of them, and also with Charity hugging her, when Cain got led away to be told off by the nice policeman

Lol poor Cain, Moira's trained him into turning over a new leaf and stay out of trouble (mostly), and he still gets escorted away by the old bill

I completely agree. Much more complex than plain good or bad. She was sensational tonight!

Emmerdale is on fire - Im normally reserving first place for Corrie but right now it's being owned by Emmerdale
