Season 2 off to a good start.

First 15 mins was very clever. Had me fooled that a year had passed so well done to the writers.

With 18 eps, I'm curious to see how Season 2 is structured.

I fear I could be dropping out of this quite soon. Crane's mannerisms and man-out-of-time routine were quite charming in season 1 but here we are in season 2 and already I'm starting to find it jarring. If it's just going to be more of the same, there's a danger he'll just become a cliched caricature. And it is starting to annoy me that he's still wearing those same old clothes (superficial I know, but it's just a constant visual reminder of what I mean)
I guess it's just one of those shows that you love/hate. Personally, I'm completely smitten with Crane and the Lieutenant. I like them together and I'm more than happy to watch any nonsense they present. It's got more than enough good script/acting/malice aforethought to entertain for some time, imo.

Not at all, it's too harmless to be a love/hate show. On the whole it's a fairly watchable and enjoyable show. There's nothing particularly terrible about it, but neither is it amazing imo.

I think it's a brilliant show. I love the humour and the chemistry between the leads. I love the concept and I absolutely love the man-out-of-time stuff. Particularly, as it is clear that he is bright enough to learn and get to grips with technology like mobile phones. Other shows would have him permanently unable to cope with technology but this approach is much more believable.

As for the old clothes, they addressed that in an earlier episode. Abbie nagged him to wear more modern stuff and he tried it but couldn't feel comfortable and eventually went back to his old gear. I think he'd look boring in normal clothes so I'm happy with the decision

Yeah, you're right. It's not a ground-breaking piece of tv that challenges boundaries blah blah. But I would argue that there are some astute political points being made quite cleverly and subtley through humour. It's not just a typical made-to-measure give-them-want-they-want US network show. And for that I hold it in regard. It's also a refreshing change to see black characters just being what they are - people. I really like that aspect of the show.

The latest episode of Bones was a cross-over with Sleepy Hollow. Except that they are meeting for the first time so I guess we're getting Bones and Sleepy Hollow out of sync with each other!

I must say it's a bit odd mixing those two series. Bones isn't a fantasy show at all and they really don't go that well together!

So there's to be a new character, presumably a new main character....

Interesting. Wonder if it will get a full season ie 22 episodes or a shorter one?

Grimm has been given 10 or 12(?) next season to no doubt to conclude everything. I know the ratings for Sleeply Hollow have not been good.

Betsy Ross isn't really a great loss, I think they decided to bring someone in as a romantic interest after Katrina went. The library woman in present day didn't work either.

Apparently Season 4 will be shown on Syfy and not Universal

Recently shows seem to switch between these two channels.

Mr.Robot(season one) was advertised on both channels. Shown on Universal then two days later re shown on SyFy

In a similar way the second half of the current season of The Blacklist will be moved from Sky Living to Sky 1
