Billie Jackson?
Does anyone else think one of Kirkwoods worst decisions was killing of Billie Jackson? He had lots of history in the show and could've been a good character and was played by a fantastic actor.
It was a shame that Kirkwood give him such a bad exit. |

Yes it was definitely personal from the producer! To be fair though he did deserve to get sacked from hollyoaks. Wasn't to bothered that billie was axed to be honest never liked the character and carol was amazing trough that storyline

I liked billie alot and do in a way think he should have been kept, however that said it really did show the talents of Patsy but more importantly Lindsay who both acted their butts off - shame Devon had to be sacked for that but least we got to see it

Didn't really care for the character to be honest. I didn't like him and Whitney together either although she was dragged down by Tyler later on anyway.
It produced a hell of a story so I would say it was worth it. |

The funeral brought back a couple of EE legends -- -- can't help but think it was personal from B Kirkwood given the history with Devon Anderson (Sonny Valentine) when in Hollyoaks. |

The aftermath storyline with Carol sleeping with that black lad was pathetic.

Kirkwood seemed determined to ruin EastEnders in any way he could. Billy Jackson wasn't an especially great character but all we had to go on were the few years he was in it as a child and about 6 months as an adult. He could have become a strong part of the show like Mark Fowler or Martin Fowler. Not especially exciting but a good ''backbone'' character. Carol got a decent story out of his death but she's been on the shelf ever since and her romance with Masood is a joke.
