Christina Perri's 'A Thousand Years'
Has surged up the charts re-entering over a year after being released and is currently in 7th place!
I can't think of any instance that could've helped the (amazing ) song get back in the charts other than Nicholas McDonald's performance of it at the end of Sunday's show...Does this mean we can expect him to go far in this years competition? |

Don't know. I don't think he'll win but I think he could do reasonably well as long as he finds his "style" and doesn't grate on people like Christopher did...

Good news for Nicholas, it is a great song though. Maybe some people heard it for the first time on X Factor and went to find the original and fell in love?
He's doing really really well on youtube views if nothing else, he's ahead of everyone from his week, and everyone from the previous week except for Melanie's room audition. Still a little early to discuss his theoretical live show performance though. |

Skyscraper by Demi Lovato is also back in the charts after being used in the background. Good timing with the USA version starting last night.
