I've also heard it referred to as a worry shared, I think it can be applied to things that could bother us in different ways.

I guess this isn't the time to point out that the Greek word for Gnosis is 'learned' and its the Arabic word that is 'knowledge'. Or that technically the title is 'The Hypostasis of The Archons' ( a word that can be critical in the correct interpretation of texts on occasion.
