I was wondering if there have been any announcements on the theme weeks or certain dances being danced this year?

Any news on theme weeks etc?
I have no idea on theme weeks, but there is usually a Halloween special.
Themes really annoy me. I don't want there to be a theme at all, I'd quite enjoy it if they all went about things as usual every week. Themes don't suit all dances or all people.
Also, do we have a Wembley one this year? That's another one I don't like, because the camera angles are so terrible that you can't see what they're doing for about 50% of the time. And being able to see the footwork? Not happening!

There's no Wembley week this year. The week that is usually there will be at the Tower Ballroom Blackpool instead

Totally agree! Down with themes!
For me it's like a non-dance week when they have themes... the music never fits and the costumes are ridiculous!

Thank goodness. Wembley really doesn't help the dancers or do much for the viewers, even if ti is great for the Wembley audience.

Although I'm content with just the Halloween Special and... what's the other one officially called? Film Week? Hollywood Week? Any more than that would be overkill.
So glad they're not doing Wembley this year though. It's overhyped and offers little enjoyment for viewers at home. If anyone so much as steps off the central platform it might as well be filmed from a satellite.
