Is ANYONE really going to miss Cameron Murray in Emmerdale? Pretty irredeemable character & probably the most loathsome piece of flesh in the entirety of Soapland. What's his appeal to make him the object of female desire? He mumbles his lines, zero charisma & a serial cheat who walked out on his own kids... Not a single redeemable feature! Maybe Cain can finish off the little runt?!

& if they insist upon making Debbie as sullen & miserable as possible...

Completely agree. I won't miss the character at all (when he eventually departs). Even before he became a murdering scumbag there was nothing to like about him.

Definitely. Think he's been a brilliant character and easy on the eye to boot.

He is monstrous in every imaginable way. Murdering Gennie in such a horrific manner was despicable. And even before he became a psycho serial killer, he had few redeeming features IMO. I've never found him particularly 'easy on the eye' either.

BUT. Even I have to admit that the current storyline in which his murdering ways have been revealed has been gripping. Some of the best ED episodes and best acting on the show I've ever seen. It will almost be a shame when the storyline comes to an end. What will we get instead? More Maurel?? Ali and Ruby trying to have a baby??:yawn::yawn:

I agree with everything except the 'easy on the eye' bit. I think he's quite handsome

The SL has to come to an end and I'm not looking forward to more Maurel, Spencer Baby Storyline, Declan threatened with bankruptcy for the umpteenth time

Hopefully once it is over we will get to see some of the other characters featuring more heavily - Jimmy and Nicola, Zak and Lisa, Moira and Adam. I am looking forward to seeing Charity's reaction to the baby reveal and I hope that the James Barton SL is interesting.

I thought the scenes at the end with him in prison and they played Gennie singing I want to hold your hand were so good and moving.
Why does Ali parade around with a face like a smacked arse?

Good point. I forgot all about the Archie storyline and James Barton's arrival. Hopefully the latter will cause some fireworks up at Butlers farm.

I never liked Cameron...even before he became a cruel sick Ba****d of a killer! I don't see the attraction physically neither...to me he's neither ugly nor handsome. Basically he's someone I wouldn't even take into notice if I bumped into him on the street.

He definately doesn't have that Cain look....you just know he's bad...but you also know he'd be HOT!

I have really enjoyed Cameron all the way from love rat to psycho but I am ready for him to go. Credit to the actor as Cameron has been creeping me out for weeks.

All good books come to an end and I am looking forward to the final chapter in October.

I have enjoyed the Cameron story but I certainly won't miss him! And I have honestly no idea why Debbie and Chas were so doolally over him , he's about as good a catch as an old boot reeled in on a fishing line. A mumbling, lying, serial cheating, untrustworthy, shifty, spineless, murdering, cowardly, yellow bellied, lilly livered worm of a man who looks like a freshly risen zombie.

It's what nature has given her. Not her fault at all.

Vicky Entwistle (Janice Battersby) has a similar 'smacked arse' look, which is quite clearly just the way her face falls in repose.

The secret is to consciously lift your features, (through smiling) to at least neutralise the look.

(For as long as I can remember, people have regularly asked me 'what's wrong?', usually when I'm concentrating hard on something and apparently I just look a bit miserable when I'm not consciously 'arranging' my features into a neutral or smiley face.)

However, none of that is anything to do with Ali's nasty aggressive tone and manner with pretty much everybody.

It's weird with Cameron because I just don't EVER understand anything he does.

If he loved Debbie to the point of obsession (murdering for her etc) then I don't think he'd have gone with Chas - he'd have just REALLY hated Andy to the point of attempting to kill him (if he was always capable of murder). I get that he'd have hated Debbie for sleeping with him too but to have a long affair with Chas? Just seems pointless if he loved Debbie THAT much.

He was also absolutely horrible to Debbie when Debbie found out about him and Chas. And he was convincing when he was with Debbie - but sucking up to Chas "I love you it's me and you" etc - behind Debbie's back.

And then suddenly he was sniffing around her again and it turned out he was in love with her all along? Even though he PROPOSED to Chas?!

I also struggle to understand anything he mumbles even with the volume turned up as much as I can with a sleeping toddler in the next room. That does my head in.

Is he supposed to be mentally ill? Personality disorder or something? Then I could maybe understand it. I mean obviously a sane person can't murder 3 people and then expect his lover or whatever she's supposed to be to thank him because he 'did it for her'...

I don't think he loves any of them, really. He just goes with whoever will have him at the time, and isn't making things too difficult for him. The murders were about self protection, not love - that's just how he justifies them to himself and others. He's totally lost the plot now, and is looking for someone else to blame for it all going wrong. He'll probably turn on Debbie in the end as well.

The Ali/Ruby storyline has got to have some decent twists to make it interesting. Either the same thing that happened with Andy/Debbie will happen when the Turkey baster doesn't work and Ruby has to sleep with Dan (make me cringe that idea for some reason and I'm a huge Dan fan!) or (more probable) Ruby with get pregnant via Turkey baster and then have an affair with Vanessa... or she can't get pregnant or loses the baby and Vanessa is "there for her" which leads to some lesbian lovin between em....

Not that any of them ideas are that exciting. They could have something else planned though! I just really hope Ali and Dan don't get back together.

The storyline NEVER made any sense. Sarah's illness story could have been really good but they ruined it with cheap and lazy filler to the point that they had to keep reminding us that Sarah was ill before getting back to the "Who's bedding who this week?" portion of it.

I'll miss the storyline. Its taken up so much of the last year, and intertwined with so many other storylines and characters, I'm wondering whats going to fill that gap when its all wrapped up.
Not going to miss Cameron though. He never loved Chas, doesnt love Debbie, he's just completely obsessed with her, and is living just this side of sanity in his head.
