I remember reading Artem twitter saying something along the lines that learning a dance from scratch in a week wasn't easy when he was learning the AT.

In any case, I am not trying to attack Artem! He is my favourite (by a looong shot) but I just was surprised to read that he could actually dance the AT by an expert. I was glad that we sorted all out now and, as I said before, I am even more in admiration of Artem.

I am a saddo Artem Fan too. Although I like to think I am more of a happy Artem Fan!”

Yes the teaching expert was DavidJames (not the goalkeeper) - and a friend and AT partner of Sofakats).

He was relatively positive about Artem wasn't he? Or as positive as NotGoalie gets about AT & Strictly. Didn't he say something about his obviously having bothered to try and learn AT and it showed in his choreography.

Loved his views on James.

Come back NotGoalie, we miss you.

That was him! Thanks. I dont remember him criticising the others, just Artem (as he is the one I care about!).

Thanks for the link. Interestingly I was rewatching Jason and Kristina's AT on YouTube the other day and I really disliked it, which I didn't when it was performed on the show. Empty, shallow and devoid of AT footwork was my impression. It's incredible that it scored 40.

And you'd be right!

It was a crime that it scored 40 - which just shows how little the judges know about AT Len is the worst offender with his stories about gauchos and the pampas. Pah!

He's never heard of a barrio.

The funny thing is that I liked the dance first time around. I think more for Kristina being Kristina. But second time around it was rubbish. It disappoints me that the judges aren't more informed in their opinions and scoring, especially Craig and Bruno.
