Congratulations to helena1284 who climbs five places to snatch that Top Spot. But with Oldnjaded and dullagj2 sharing the same score and last week’s leader star89one point behind it’s all very close indeed.

Well done to chrisdebag who gets the biggest climb of the week with a 7 place jump from 25th to 18th, thanks to the fact that he (& leaderboard topper helena1284) tie for the biggest points increase of the week with 93 points.

Congratulations to Lewi26 and the Boys extending their lead this week. That’s mainly thanks to all the Cameron action but whether they’ll be able to hold lotty and the Girls off until the end of the month remains to be seen…..

It won’t be long before the end of September is here so it’s time to start thinking about your team for September’s ‘Daily Challenge.

As usual there’s also a Corrie version of the game running on the Corrie episodes threads so if you fancy having a go at that then get your thinking caps on and get a team registered.


Don’t worry if you haven’t played before. Just read the rules below and get posting. You might end up top of the Leaderboard with your first attempt!


It’s a very easy game to play. The object of the game is to pick a team of 11 characters from those listed below which you think will score the more points than the other people playing the game.


New players will need to pick a name for their team. Those of you who have played in the ‘Daily Challenge this year can retain the same name or change it (if you think you’ve thought of something better.)


Once you’ve whittled your shortlist down to 11 characters you will then need to nominate one of them as Captain. This character will have their score doubled so you’re really looking to identify the character which you think will score the most points during the month to maximise your chances of winning.


Then, simply post your choices on the thread or send them to me via PM, and keep an eye out for the Monday ‘Daily to see how your “team” is doing in the score updates.

The scoring system works as follows:-

+ 1 point per episode appearance

+ 1 point for the character that speaks the first words in the episode.

+ 1 point for the character that speaks the last words in the episode before the break.

+ 1 point for the character that speaks the first words in the episode after the break

+ 1 point for the character that speaks the last words in the episode.

+ 1 point for any kisses on the lips. If you have both characters who kiss in your team each character will receive a point.

+ 2 bonus points for any character that appears in 6 or more episodes during the week. In the event of any episodes being transmitted on a weekend the week will run from Monday to Sunday.

+ Remember that your team Captain gets their score doubled!!!

Alongside the main game is the Boys Versus Girls Team Challenge .


You do not need to do an extra “work” for this other than specify which gender you are if it is not already listed on your profile.


For the purposes of this game, each player will have just their Captain included in their relevant team.
If there is an imbalance in numbers the Captain of the team with the lower number gets to pick who makes up the deficit.


For example if there were 14 Girls playing and 10 Boys playing and SULLA was Boys Captain then he could pick whoever he likes to make up the 4 additional places in his team. These four additional "players" could be the same as his Captain, or, if he wanted to spread the risk he could pick a number of different characters.

Each team also has an appointed Team Captain.
