Iceland Frozen Food Based on Crisps; McCoys & Hula Hoops!
Anyone seen these yet?
http://grocerygems.blogspot.co.uk/20...to-ridges.html Iceland have frozen potato products based on famous brands of crisps. There are two flavours of the frozen McCoy's and three flavors of the Hula Hoops. All of them simply go in the oven, a bit like frozen oven chips. The MCoy's were quite tasty ![]() There was also one called "Wot'sThis" which were the only one without an official trademark. |

I'm thinking "No."
Seems too weird for my (admittedly unadventurous) taste. |

What a cool idea! I don't normally go to Iceland because the aisles are too narrow and it upsets me, but I actually want to go and get these now. Are the exclusive to Iceland? I'll brave going in there. If I can clear some freezer space I'm getting hula hoops and mccoys.
Edit: ah yes, exclusive to Iceland. I'll pop in later today after I get my nails done. |

I know what'll happen. They'll be the best potatoes i've ever tasted, then in a few months they'll be gone forever, just like my Cross&Blackwell pasta choice

I was keen to try the Cheese & Onion McCoys, but they only had Ready Salted
![]() I opted for the Beef Hula Hoops. It's kinda weird eating them as normal food, but I'm sure they'd go down well will some dips as party food. |

Cheese hula hoops seem to be the favourites they are always sold out in my store. Bought the Wotsits today not sure I fancy them but the kids will no doubt love them.

Got original hula hoops. Its like eating warm crisps... Strange. Not sure if I fancy the McCoys ones. But I also saw that Iceland are now selling Noisette potatoes - been looking for these for years!!
