Do We Say No To The Strictly Topless Man? - The Guys TO BE Fettered OR NOT TO BE Fettered, This Is The Question ?

This question applies to Pro's and Celebs.

Is it fair that the Guys can gain an unfair advantage by dancing Topless on Strictly Come Dancing to appeal to the public voters when the girls have to bow to convention which states that the girls have to wear the boustanhalter and remain trussed up?

Should the Strictly producers instruct the Guys to cover up when dancing?

Terry, I thought you said you were going to stop all these multiple topics?

I don't want to see topless female pros or celebs and I'd rather that the male pros and celebs kept their pecs, or moobs, in shirts too.

Terry, quick question - have you seen what some of the professional ladies wear these days on Strictly? I would hardly call them "trussed up"

Two a week is what Terry promised.

As a self-imposed limit, that's generous and admirable. It isn't even Lent.

Back on topic... Is a shirt a whole lot of fettering? I go for clothed, to my own surprise. Maybe the top button undone.

Perhaps he is thinking of turkeys ready for roasting.

Not too sure Ola would be happy.

So I make this the first new thread of this week Terry - only 1 more new thread before next Monday. Personally I would have kept them for the live shows. I wonder what the topic of your other new thread this week will be???

I wait with baited breath to see what topic wins through ....

To be honest, the "topless man" very much depends on which "man" it is.

Artem, Aljaz possibly Pasha - sure, why not?

Bruce, Len, Julien - not so much.

Shallow? Moi? Oh yes.

I agree, who wants to see more gratuitous Chippendale topless dancing displays like we saw from Gavin Hanson that year.

Lol. The ladies more than benefit from their scraps of cloth - uh, I mean, costumes - to warrant an occasional topless guy on the show. Or many, for that matter.

Crazy thread lol

If men can go topless so can the woman

Well although I hear that topless darts is an all female preserve, if the guys dancing on Strictly Come Dancing won't cover up there is a case to argue that the girls should be provided with an equal opportunity to compete with the same dress code as the guys.

No, sorry Tel, for every vote that garnered they'd lose half a dozen elsewhere.

That was quick, is there going to be a vote already.

edit wrong thead.

I said I would be ok with the top button undone, but not down the the belly button, thats taking things to far on the show tonight.

This is exactly what I'm saying, how can Artem get away with a gratuitous vote grabbing nipple flash after his dance on the show tonight, how can the girls possibly compete with that, its hardly a level playing field, I think there is a good case to be made for a points deduction for behaviour like that, Strictly isn't Soho after all.

My grandad used to keep fetters. His problem with them was more in the trouser department.
Oh, sorry. I thought he said ferrets.

I find this hard to believe, grown men have been known to weep at the sight of a woman's nipple.

Why should the guys have an unfair advantage by being able to go topless on Strictly, and flash their nipple while being interviewed, I have heard it said that they have larger brains, but I don't think that is any excuse.

Just for Terry, proof that there are some gentlemen left in the world. Tony Jacklin attempts to cover up, even in the swimming bath.

No nipples or thighs, underpants or anything like that here

It's always Artem who gets his pecs out though. I'd rather it was the new guy who is dancing with Abbie. He looks a bit tasty.

I remember the angst about Harry Judd "abusing" his rather well-proportioned torso to get votes - "poor Chelsee", we kept hearing, "it's not fair".

But then in the final, at the very start of her free dance, she leans forward in that low-cut dress and gives a shimmy that blasts anything Harry could do out of the water.

I think the women on Strictly have plenty of tricks up their sleeves (or elsewhere) to match the bare-chested lads.
