As its been said that, AJ, Kirsty, Poppy and Carl have been axed,

I was hoping for Joey, Fatboy and Kim!

I'm glad about Poppy (Sorry Klend ) and AJ,

Kirsty was going to leave anyway as she stated she would give it a year, so i'm not too fussed,

Carl was a bad guy but not a Gangster!

I'm happy about them all!

I do think there might be a big name shock in there soon.

I would agree with most of that but unfortunately Joey is as safe as houses because of his young fans and who he is involved with

Joey keeps winning awards but based on his low screen time I think TPTB know he's limited in terms of acting ability. He seems to be a bit character at the moment.

Joey will be gone by the end of the year.

They need to replace him with somebody who can act.

Characters with far bigger 'youth' fanbases have been booted before now. He isn't as safe as you might think. A good producer isn't stupid enough to keep something for the sake of pleasing a very small minority if they think it's displeasing the majority.

Out of all gangster type characters only Johnny Allen, Jake and Danny, Dennis Rickman and Steve Owen actually killed someone

Hartman's should get axed. What a massive waste they've been.

Fatboy AJ and Poppy should definitely get axed and I think the likes of Joey Dexter Ava and Sam are hopefully all on their way out...

None of the characters are too much a surprise to be honest. It's like he is trying to retcon 2011-2013. All of the characters that have been axed were introduced between then.

True but Andy Hunter, soft touch that he was, managed to arrange for Paul Hunter to be (most likely brutally) murdered. Jack Dalton must have ordered dozens of hits off-screen too, in particular that Vinnicombe guy who was buried as Den. Then there were the football hooligans led by Terry Bates who murdered Jase.

As for the axings - yes, most likely. And I'm sure it'll be more recently-introduced characters too, Ava and Dexter will probably be gone by 2015. Sadie and Jake will probably follow them out and Danny as a villain would likely have a shelf life.

Now that AJ the Pointless is leaving, not that he had much influence over the family, Masood and Tamwar will have fewer family members to interact with (what with it being just the two of them! :sleep and will most likely follow him out at some point. And with David returning I think we all know where Carol will run to...let's hope she doesn't trip up this time though

Unfortunately we seem to be stuck with Joey, at least for now. Let's hope his axing is announced after Alice leaves.

I think he will axe more definitely. Might just be dependant on contract timings etc. but there is certainly another handful he can get rid of.

Yeah writing is on the wall for a few cast members now. Mas and Tam look very shakey. I think the only thing that could save them is a reintroduced Shadnam with a husband and kid and a decent storyline.

They just need to axe more chars they cant actually write for...Sharon? She is pointless right now.

I think Mas and Tam will be fine. Infact I'm willing to bet Shabnam is on her way back. EE will not ditch the core members of their most successful Asian family.

I reckon the Hartmans are gone!! but we might not hear about that for a while. Contracts have to be honoured remember but I bet by summer they are no longer there.

New additions like Sadie, Jake and Danny might be in trouble. DTC didn't create them so might not want to be lumbered with them either.

Sadie and Jake are safe in my view and both characters are played by good actors.

Danny's comeback has failed so far and Gary Lucy deserves better- coming back as Janine's sidekick is not working so DTC may get rid of him.

I cant see Shabnam returning personally.

Anybody who thinks Sharon will be axed is deluding themselves, the whole comeback has flopped due to the bad writing that Letitia Dean has had to work with - to me the Denny situation seems to be going somewhere now too- Sharon does need to wake up and realise that Denny is a problem - maybe Ian can get through to her.

Kirsty is played by an actress who was nominated for a BAFTA. She was EEs biggest signing in years.

So that means nothing.

I'm pretty sure Sadie is safe, and I'd like to think Jake is, I think his character has potential. Personally I'd axe Alfie, Sharon, Joey, Kim and the Hartmans.

If they axe Tracy though, the show will be in ruins
