Do you think they could get away with recasting Zoe, its unlikely the actress having tasted life in hollywood would want to return to EE. What about Shabnam too if the actress doesnt want to return, the Masoods are going nowhere now that Zainab has gone, they should have all left when Nadia did.
Yes. I do think we will hear news of Hartmans next year and possibly Joey. I don't think DTC is done with his axing stick just yet.

He;s probably only announced axings for actors who's contracts are coming to an end soon. Depending abn when Joey's ends he may have another 6 months or so. Theres no point annoucing it now - although the actor may already know it won't be renewed to allow them to find another job.
The axing will continue – but only when characters are nearing the end of their contracts. There’s no point announcing more if they are contracted for another 6 months – especially if they are a minor name.
Should have kept Kirsty. She could have been developed into a decent character.
Not bothered about Poppy or Carl leaving. Poppy is awful. Carl is annoying and does/says the same things over and over again.
AJ adds some occasional comedy to the show but I can't say I will miss him. They should have given him some sort of storyline.

AJ's problem was that they brought him in for Roxy but then tptb seen she would work better with Alfie so AJ became utterly pointless overnight.

I think within the next six months.we'll have some more axings.I imagine the four announced, are either the four weakest DTC has identified,or are conflicting with storyline plans he has in development.I'm sure he's looking at every cast member and giving some time to improve with a different creative direction,before seeing if they get the chop.
