Just read and couldn't quite believe that they are axing the character Kirsty Branning.
I liked Kirsty right from the start though there was a phrase where (and this was down to the writers) that she seemed like she had no purpose in the storyline anymore.
I thought Kat and Kirsty worked so well last night on the clothes stall. Both actresses had a fabulous screen rapport and what a pity to have read this about Kirsty being axed because for a very long time I felt that there was no actor or actress that could match Jessie Wallace's character Kat but last night I was wrong.
Tanya was one of my favourite characters and having Kirsty softened the blow of losing her. Now to read that Kirsten Warring is leaving then for me there is going to be no more purpose in watching Easties and I have been watching this soap right from Feb 1985 when it first went out on air.
I like the Brannings and thought that Kirsty would take over from where Tanya left off and be Lauren and Abs stepmother.
I'm really disappointed in Easties because to me they had a damn good actress in Kirsten Warring but felt that they have never really used this actress they way they should.
