Eastenders has lost some characters this year and now DTC is axing more and more characters, is he paving the way for the introduction of new characters?

I hope not too many at this stage. I think the existing characters need to be re-established and developed

I already do not like the sound of bianca's new boyfriend, hopefully he's just a temp.

We need a married couple. Kirsty leaving means EE is lacking a marriage.

No more yet. We already have Sadie, Danny, Cindy and Jake floating around being a bit pointless, and soon we will have Terry and Tina. They need to bed these characters into the show before they bring in any more. ATM I couldn't care less if Danny, Jake and Cindy left.

No. He will keep axing characters until only one is left - Ian Beale and every episode will have Ian walking around the square with a smug face
