ipad disabled

After ios 7 downloaded, it says ipad disabled, can't get away from that screen.

connected it up to a PC & it say itunes can't connect as ipad is disabled, enter corrct passcode, trouble is I cannot get into the ipad at all.

anyone any ideas please??

Hmm, when you set the iPad up from iOS7 didn't you enter a 4 digit password as it asked you to, and did you pay attention to that password. I suggest ringing Apple, I didn't experience any problems updating my iPad 3 to iOS7

That may be the problem, iOS7 asks for a password and now has a screen lock as standard, if he's forgotten the password, he may of locked himself out, not sure how you undo this.

Rang Apple, because it is an is IS07 problem they've not charged me, they made it so I can put the ipad in recovery mode.

downloading is07 to PC then to the ipad, it should've cost £25 but they have waived it because it' is IS07 & icloud related.

to get the ipad to download the software, you just press the power & menu button together & wait for the apple logo then the charge cable to appear on screen.

very impressed.

you didn't need to call apple to be able to do that.
a simple google would have given you that info, and it's most likely in the thread i linked to in the previous post.

I did think that after the phone call but never mind the iPad 2 is back working again.
