I loved Michael and Natalies jive

It was soooooooooooo bad it was good

Michael and Natalie's Jive every time. It's not just the dance, which is comedy genius within itself, but also Natalie wetting herself all through the judges comments & scores that makes it brilliant despite it's awfulness <3

Another one for Michael and Natalie's jive - just perfect in its dreadfulness - Unintended, genuine humour is always the best

It was a toss-up because my default setting is that Ann and Anton did the worst dances in Strictly history so must always 'win' such a poll. But their paso was marginally better than their samba so, in the end, I had to vote for Michael and Natalie's jive, which cheers me up every time I watch it because it is just SO bad. Even his wood-chopping is out of time.

Yet another one here for Michael & Natalie's Jive, and I agree with whoever said that Natalie peeing herself just made the whole thing even more hysterical to watch!

Michael and Natalie's Jive is the ultimate "so bad it's good dance" because Michael is just so good humoured about it.

I regard Ann and Anton's Samba as the nadir of Ann's Strictly dances but given she refused to even attempt most of the basics of every Latin dance they all become one in the same, each faintly resembling a boy scout helping a cantankerous old woman across a busy road.

Wasn't the samba the yellow knickers one? I can't check because I might accidentally catch some of the routine and these last years of therapy will have been wasted...

Nope, my reflex is still strong.

"Worst" + "Widdecombe" = click.

How can anybody vote for Michael and Natalie's jive as a "worst" dance? It should be shown as therapy to those in crisis.

The props, the music, and the whole "won't it be funny to see Ann do the dahnce of luuuurve". Urgh.

Oh, I can't remember their Rumba and I'm not even slightly tempted to look on Youtube to refresh my memory. Given she found all the Latin dances lewd and inappropriate was she able to do anything other than stand completely still during the Rumba?

Why are there three perfectly competent dances (with reasonable marks) in this list of supposedly worst ever?

Partly through personal taste, partly because some of the worst of the worst are nowhere to be found on YouTube

I think that most of us are voting for the jive in the sense of- it was so bad despite the fact that he really was trying so hard (Ann never even tried so not surprising that she was so awful), it was so bad that it's enjoyable & fun to watch without making you want to gouge your own eyes out (looking at Quentin Wilson & Vorderumba here) & the fact that they found it hilarious that they were so bad was the icing on the cake. So even though there have been worse dances on the cringeworthy or lack of effort scale, Michael & Natalie have done the Best Worst dance & my favourite worst dance... they are votes of appreciation rather than derision

There are lots of worse dances available on YouTube. As others have mentioned the Vorderhumba is one and Craig Kelly's latin dances are some others. In addition I had the misfortune to stumble upon Jared Murillo's chachacha with Tina. Murillo was as bad as Tina in that one as Tina, who was making an effort to be fair. I wasn't sure what Murillo was doing ...

Edit: Ooh and I'd like to add Robin and Lisa's QS from last series. It was an appalling lumpy dumpy effort with a tasteless roll over at the end from Lisa.

As much as Michael's Jive was beautifully woeful, and the obvious Widdecombe and Del'Olio connotations- the worst dance, simply for it being so awful and yet overmarked, was Ricky and Erin's Paso. It was simply woeful, and yet somehow got 7s and 8s? That utterly heinous bit on the stairs brings me out in a rage!

Indeed, I love them for that dance, everything about it, including their reactions were brilliant, but importantly Michael really put his all into it and tried - maybe worst dance is the wrong title, as there's been very many dances I've enjoyed far less that have made me want to gorge my eyes out with a spoon (Jason/Kristina's morris dancing/serial killing/hair sniffing/boobage flashing AT springs to mind - I would mention Widdy, but I'm still trying to pretend she didn't really happen).

Maybe 'most enjoyable worst dance' for Michael's jive?

I don't really understand why a dance that scored 29 is on the list?

All time worst dance for me has to be.. Brendan and Lisa's showdance...

Obviously the really bad dances have not been included probably because to call them dances in the first place would be so wrong but one of favourite bad dances of recent years has to be Sid and Ola's Cha Cha to the theme from Ghostbusters

It was the Titanic one. Awful music, horrible choreo, and zero attempt to dance. To be honest, the music alone is reason enough to loathe it - add in everything else and the Widdecombe woman?

I dont think that Fern and Artem and especially Ricky and Erin Paso (C'mon this was one of their best dances and kind of a " break through " week for them ) should be in this list. I have seen far worse dances at Strictly than those dances.
