To date, I still haven't heard anything so beautiful as that one was, sung live on X Factor.

Have you heard something better than this on the show?

It was amazing. However Ruth's Purple Rain will always be the most epic performance. Her Always wasn't far off either.

This is an amazing performance (Obviously, Its LEONA!) and is definitely up there with the best ever on the show. Leona will probably always be remembered as the shows ultimate best discovery, she set the benchmark for the incredible success that future acts have went onto have not just in the UK but worldwide.

Yes it was Leona's best performance. But my favourite performance ever has to be Alexandra's Bad Boys...the girl was working that stage...

OP, couldn't you have linked this one instead?

It is a great performance.

Shall we ask Mr Cowell, OP? Or ask the judges in the live shows.

I know. I just wanted to ask you guys, what you think? Obviously Simon is in awe of Leona. I wanted to hear everyone's unbiased opinions.

For me it was, it wasn't expected. At the time we thought she was going to be promoting Forgive Me because it was her single, so it came as a complete surprise when she sand that for me. It really was incredible.

Ruined the song. Overblown and over produced.

Check out Alexandra Burke singing Listen both on her own early in the competition and especially duetting with Beyonce.........both far better than Beyonce original IMO and one of the best live vocal performances that I have seen on any show.

I think Burke's career has been held back by seemingly not being allowed to sing ballads because that was seen as Leona's territory.....instead Burke was left to try and shift what I call boil in the bag pop songs that have strictly limited appeal........Burke is a brilliant ballad singer.

I agree she is a brilliant ballad singer but come on Beyonce original version of Listen is out of this world. The duet with Beyonce was fantastic but as a solo artist Leona's Run was top class and beats any live performances on XF anyday including all of Alex's solo performances - sorry Alex fans

Alex's Hallelujah and Ruth's Purple Rain were right up there with some of Leona's cover renditions, assuming we are just talking about UK XF.

Definitely the best for me. As Dave pointed out, it was so unexpected because Forgive Me had just charted so was expecting a performance of this. I have never experienced such a great performance as this particular one, and the look on Cheryl's face said it all. To this day, nothing has topped this.

My favourite guest performance is porobably when JLS/Alexandra did that joint performance the year after winning, just shows how well the show can do sometimes.

Sadly we have never had an other final two who could pull of something as contemporary as that.

I'm with you. Not even a fan of the original, but I'd take that version over hers any day.

We haven't had them paired up, that's why.

Not sure if Olly and Joe, or Little Mix & Marcus could pull something off similar, for example.
