Hi guys,

Has anyone tried Zoostorm PCs? I've been looking at this one to use as a media server and something I can remote onto at work (something we are allowed to do). http://www.ebuyer.com/407538-zoostor...p-pc-7873-1076

I understand it doesn't have an operating system. That's not a big problem for me, I've seen some full retail copies of Windows 7 on eBay that aren't too expensive.

crappy processor and small hdd and by the looks of it onboard graphics so not the greatest system around so setting it up could add more than buying something a bit better as it has no hdmi

I bought a Zoostorm from ebuyer 4 years ago for 199 with a Pentium E6300/500GB hard drive and it's given no problems.
I had a spare legit copy of W7 as I'd bought several at the introductory price of around 45.
So, depends what you want and it's not a hi-spec machine by any account but I've not been let down.

They do what they do for the price, got one for someone for a second machine to run a Linux server on a couple of years back, it is still going well and is on 24/7.

Depends what you want it for at the end of the day.

We have bought some 100 or so custom-spec Zoostorm machines over the past couple of years in work. They are lasting well, and we've had no issues with them.

Have used Zoostorm a couple of times. They are basically budget machines. Not had any trouble with them so far. They seem to be specialising in Windows 7 machines these days, as most of the big names sell Windows 8 PCs pretty much exclusively these days.
