New 'Enders producer announces huge cast overhaul

The new producer of EastEnders, Jim Victor, has today announce that he is to make major changes to the cast of the popular soap. The changes which including a surprising amount of returns and exits is listed below

EastEnders producer teases bitsweet Mitchell reunion
Its was only last week that Peggy Mitchel visited Phil in hospital but today it has been annoced that she is to return again toward the end of the year for a six month stint, also returning are Grant and Sam, but Sam will only be appearing briefly towards the end of Peggy's six month arc.
On the return of the Mitchell the producer said "I think some fans where unhappy with the way Peggy left back in 2010 and I believe many where happy to see her brief return last week, as is the case with most brief returns, we where testing the waters to see if fans wanted her back and it would appear they do"he then went on to say "In bring Peggy back we knew it would be something big to bring her back to the Square for a while and unfortunately its not the happy kind of big. Grant returns with Peggy and Phil instantly realise there is something very wrong, its a real bittersweet reunion and will serve as Peggy's final farewell, Sam will also return for a few episodes towards the end of the storyline and Grant will stick around for an indefinite amount of time after Peggy's exit"

EastEnders exit for Patsy Palmer
It has recently been announced that Patsy Palmer will be leaving EastEnders early next year. The actress has played Bianca since 1993 and although she has left twice before and come back, the producer of EastEnders has said "After she's gone she's gone for good, her exit will have a huge impact on the show, she is one its most popular characters so its hard to see her go, but we have made sure she will get the best send off possible".
Also departing shortly after are Tiffany and Morgan who will go to live with Ricky, who is to make a brief return for a week after Bianca's exit. It is also believed that Bianca's brother Robbie and sister Sonya as well as a few members of the Branning family will also make brief returns during and after the exit storyline.

Three New Characters for EastEnders
Three New Characters have been for EastEnders have been revealed early today. "We are introdrucing the O'Briain family, Patrick O'Briain and his wife Rebecca will arrive in the first week of November and will be joined at the end of the month by Rebecca's father Damien Daniels" said the producer about the future new arrivals,"We have cast Emmett Scanlan as Patrick, Jamie-Lynn Singler as Rebecca and Peter Davison as Damien" he added.
Emmett Scanlan is best know as Hollyoaks bad boy Brendan Brady, a role he left earlier this year, Jamie-Lynn Sigler is know for playing Tony Soprano's daughter in The Sopranos and Peter Davison is known by most as the fifth incarnation of everyones favourite Time Lord in Doctor Who. Further details on the characters will be revealled some time next month.

Leaked EastEnders Cast List is Mostly Fake Says Producer
The recent leaked cast list which included returns for the likes of Ruby Allen, Jake Moon, Sean Slater and Simon Wicks and exits for Mo Harris, Patrick Truman, Abi Branning and Jay Brown to name a few are mostly false says the producer. "It's interesting that this 'leak' did actual get a few things right, I'm very surprised they got the three new characters right, I think maybe someone on the set has leaked this and added a few false parts to it, so its not a complete leak". The producer went on to say that more cast changes will be announced sooner than planned as a result of this leak, that if he finds out the person responsible for the leak they will be fired and that if its an actor that leaked it their character will be written out and not given a proper exit.

Kate Magowan to be written out after leak
Kate Magowan who plays Sadie Young will be written out of the show after leaking the casting list. It is thought that her final appearance will be later next month, she will not be given an on-screen exit.

Exit for four Brannings
Earlier to day EastEnders annoced that it is to axe three members of the Branning family, Abi, Joey, Kirsty and Max will be leaving the show at some point in the future. It is though that Lauren will stay on the Square possibly moving in with a new love interest or another member of the Branning family. No further details have been released on the characters exit storylines as of yet.

Shocking New Relationship for Whitney
The new EastEnders producer has revealed that Whitney will begin a shocking relationship in his first episode as producer (which airs on next Monday). "Don't panic though this will be a happy relationship and not another abuse storyline, the shock is in who it is not the nature of the relationship". The producer went on to add "It is a male character though, where not go to have her pull a Sonya and suddenly turn gay. I'm quite lucky that my predecessor has given them a few scenes together over the past few weeks so it doesn't come out of the blue, I think fans might be a little freak out by it at first but hopeful they will warm too the idea"
The new producer's first episode airs next Monday at 8pm and an interview with Shona and the actor playing Whitney's new love interest will be posted sometime after the episode has aired.

EastEnders new producer has revealed that an extra episode (which will air on Wednesday) has be added from his first episodes in charge and that there will be five major twist in next weeks episodes Mondays twist has already been revealed (Whitney's shock relationship), the other four involve a death, a return (of a character yet to be revealed), a shocking connection between two characters and a pregnancy.The producer refused to reveal anymore or even give us some hints, so you'll have to watch too find out for yourself.

All awesome news.

Worried you may be taking on too much too soon, having 5 different major storylines going on in one week and handling so many exits so soon.

Generally when this happens the fanfics are abandoned because it's too difficult to continue with all the story lines, ect...but I hope this isn't you.

New Producer has jumped ahead two years

This is to allows for characters that where already leaving to get going and a few returning to have settled back in. "People called me lazy at first but when me and the story department started writing the story-lines in made sense to move it forward, plus it will keep the audience guessing exactly whats happened in those three years, all the major points will be revealed over time. The only two characters that where going to be living that are now stating (at least for the time being) are Alice and Jack, of course people are gonna ask is what happened to Michael, all I will say is this, he's not dead!

*real reason was so that I could tell my own stories without having to wrap up all the current story-lines being shown on the telly (yes, I am a bit lazy)
