TalkTalk have upgraded the TalkTalk Player. I don't think it actually adds anything new, just makes it easier to get at. All of the on-demand stuff (LoveFilm Box Office, Digital Theatre etc.) is now combined under one heading: TalkTalk Box Office. There is a new common interface for them with tags to call up the various sections. Lots of HD too.

Oddly, the Sky channels are still there. Not sure why because they have now been incorporated into the main epg, unless not everybody has received the update yet, of course.

Sky movies on demand has been added for those that subscribe to the sky movies boost. Apart from that it is all the same, just in one place now.

I don't see them on the main epg yet, tried doing a software update, but not update available (so my box told me).

I was part of the original trial, so I got my update in August. At the time, I was given to understand that it would be rolled out to all subscribers in early September. It seems that some people don't have it yet, which came as a surprise to me. Do you subscribe to any of the boosts? If you don't, perhaps that is the reason. These channels are all subscription.

No customers have the main channels in the YouView guide yet (unless you were on the trial).

I subscribe to the entertainment package so I get the general sky channels, the rest of UKTV, etc.

Hiya, I stumbled across this page by accident (was actually trying to find out if Dave Chanel is down for everyone at the mo or just me!) I'm not sure what epg means. Do you mean that the sky boost channels should soon be accessible through the main guide menu? I hope so as it's my biggest bugbear having to view channels through two separate menus

I'm not sure what epg means.
EPG = Electronic Program Guide, i.e the on-screen list of channels & program schedules.

According to TalkTalk sales line the update to be able to record the TV boosts is currently being tested as it is hoped that it will be launched in February.

As far as I know it still hasn't entered the usual trial phase, so February might be optimistic.
