You forgot to add Nicole Scherzinger to the list - she's got a second album to release. No way is she giving up the promotion.

I think we're pretty much guaranteed the following:
James Arthur - Last years winner, obviously Little Mix - Very successful, seem to be releasing some new material lately Union J - Have had some success over the last year so will be promoting like mad One Direction - Duh Olly Murs - Duh x2 Britney Spears - I think I read somewhere about her going on the show? Plus she's trying to revive herself...again Gary Barlow - Album out in November Lady Gaga/Katy Perry - One or both, they seem to be heading off against each other with Artpop vs Prism Justin Timberlake - Trying to revive himself, big name Demi Lovato - In Simon's back pocket Rihanna - She's never not here Miley Cyrus - Bangerz comes out in a few weeks so there'll be quite a lot of promotion on her behalf |

I reckon Cher will be our slightly older legendary female act of the year. I would love a Cher week but I doubt it would happen.
Rihanna will probably make what feels like twenty or so appearances as always. Gaga and Katy will both appear. I don't get why anyone would think it is one or the other, they are both on Universal owned labels. There isn't some big conspiracy where only one can appear. |

I wouldn't be so certain about Rihanna appearing, it's looking very unlikely that she'll have an album out this year, and she is just releasing the fifth single from Unapologetic, so I doubt she'd be releasing a sixth.
Basically, she has nothing to promote. |

I think I read somewhere that Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Justin Timberlake were already confirmed?

I hope Leona and Jessie J perform. They've both got fantastic vocal ranges.

Why on earth would Jessie J perform? She seems rather desperate for a slot after all the slagging off she did, bless her for trying though.

It'll be great to see Britney there!! She's coming to UK soon but only for some interviews but she has no reason to promote Work Bitch now as the single is being released in the beginning of November 4th/5th so it'll be perfect match for the XF performance!
Demi Lovato could do her 3rd single off her album. Miley could be doing the same - maybe it'll be SMS with Britney - it'll be fire Obviously some XF alumni - James Arthur, Little Mix, 1D, Cher Lloyd, Rebecca and Leona Lewis (she's releasing a Christmas album when the rest release their debut, sophomore, third albums), GaGa and Kitty Purry will be doing huge promotion of their albums so I do expect them to come up. Kelly Clarkson will release her Christmas album in October so she'll be welcome if she comes JLS - hey, they're releasing greatest hits album - it's gotta be performed right where it all began Gary Barlow, Robbie Williams, Boyzone, they got some albums being released as well in the Autumn so they are bound to come I want to see Cher (real Cher) and Jessie J. And of course Nicole balls lover. SHe gotta have something out soon! |

Jahméne Douglas has announced details of his new single.
The singer has covered Bob Dylan's 1974 song 'Forever Young' for his latest release. The song, which features on his chart-topping album Love Never Fails, has been re-worked for its single release on November 4. "I hadn't heard this song before it was given to me, although it has previously been covered by both Diana Ross and Norah Jones," he said of the song. "The lyrics are beautiful. There is purity in the song. 'May you build a ladder to the stars' - to me it's about finding that ladder and finding yourself. "A lot of people start off in life by being lost and that's not a bad thing," he continued, "but when you realise who you are it makes life worthwhile and life's about learning, keeping that youthful attitude to keep moving forward in growth. Build your foundations in life so that you have a sturdy base to live from." Douglas performs at the Stephen Lawrence Unity concert, which takes place at London's O2 Arena on September 29. The star previously branded Katy Perry as "morally wrong" for releasing songs about "threesomes and getting naked... and getting wasted". |

Hope Celine Dion will appear at some point. She has not been on the show since 2007, about time she came back.
