Yes I had problems I even put a thread on here the other day about it warning people of the problems.
It totally bricked mine, and connecting it to iTunes did sod all as well. I had to take mine to the nearest apple store and they sorted it out for me

Apple have now released a new update. I did mine yesterday and it works fine, it does take best part of an hour to do though.

If the update has failed on yours and you can't access it then you Need to plug it into your computer using the USB connector and restore it from there. There is lots of information on the Apple forums.

Although I do like Apple stuff they do have history of putting out duff updates. When any new updates are released I always leave it for a week or so to make sure there are no problems.

Yes Apple Tv.

When I was at my Genius Bar appointment I was told the problem was due to the servers getting hammered. I found out later that day that the update had been taken offline as it was bricking so many devices!
Now a new update has been released and all is good again.

By all accounts this update for Apple TV was a major update if on 3rd gen as all other previous updates were 5.? where this one as 6.0 is like iOS 7.0 is to iPads and iPhones.
Doesn't look much different to me though, apart from iTunes radio which isn't worth getting excited about tbh.

Nothing much has changed what about the fact that you can now buy Movies, TV shows and Music through Apple TV no sign of iTunes Radio yet though.

Change your iTunes location to USA, you might need a US iTunes account though
