This is the problem with BT Tv service, if you don't have a computer , games console or any other product that requires broadband then it can be expensive.
Surly Bt must realise that not everyone needs broadband?”
If he has Sky Sports and no broadband from Sky or anyone else and doesn't want broadband, then it's his choice , do without BT Sport 1, 2 and ESPN or pay £12/ month, lots of Sky customers are calling Sky and saying they are thinking of leaving Sky Broadband and get a £12 discount off their Sky TV subscription, enough to cover the BT Sport cost, but your mate not having broadband is not likely to get offered this if he called them.
your comment about computer or games console is incorrect, as you can watch BT sport on the Sky TV platform and it's free if you have BT Broadband or £12 if you don't, or are you pointing out that to get BT 's or anyone else's IPTV system you need the internet ?
