A very odd excuse for one if you ask me.

In tonights episode he mentioned not drinking alcohol because of his `beliefs` , yet he is cavorting around having sexual relations with a woman who couldn't be further from the Islamic world if she tried!

I think it's a very true to life portrayal. I find many people (not all) pick and choose what they believe in, to suit them and their lifestyle, no matter what religion. I don't think there is anything wrong with that at all. Whatever makes people happy. Just as long as they aren't complete hypocrites about it. Then that's a whole other argument.

Most people fall short of their ideals, whether religious or not!

Loved Masood clutching the tea tray tonight - but he was right to stay out of David's dysfunctional would-be gangster farce.

Carol, if you end up choosing David over Masood, you deserve all you get.

I actually know some Catholic people who have had children outside of marriage - whatever next?

Yeah but him accepting his gay son isn't a big deal in Islam at all? Very few people follow their religion to the exact specifications, following all beliefs that originated millenniums ago just isn't realistic .

Well she knows Masood can be trusted better than David, can't he? The reason her and David are not together is because of him. The reason Masood isn't with Zainab is because she messed everything up and wouldn't show him any respect.

Well he very nearly didn't did he? He didn't know the gangsters were calling round.

Carol made a big point of stating that the wine she'd bought was alcohol-free, but made no mention of whether the lamb she'd cooked was halal. Just thought that was odd.

We all need to remember that everyone does things they shouldn't. It's a bit like asking is Dot Branning a Christian?
