I thought Sophie's short-suit worked really well - showed off her fabulous long legs and enabled her to do all the lifts without showing off too much. Shows they can get things right sometimes.

I thought they did really well with Vanessa's dress, both the cut and the colour were very flattering.

I absolutely loved some of the costumes this week, specially Jeanette's Baroque creation for the tango, Natalie's red waltz dress, Sophie's dress was true flapper, Karen's American Smooth dress had a lovely 50s vibe and Iveta's perfectly caught the 60s mood, loved the colours in it, and I think they did really well with the dresses for both Deborah and Vanessa.

Loved some of the costumes but some of them were hideous.

(Camp) Sparkly matador doing a Tango... that's a mismatch if ever I saw one.
What name??

Although Gok really needs to go in and sort out the underwear for many of the celeb ladies! Anything more than an A cup (and a perky A rather than a saggy A, at that) always looks insufficiently supported.”

Would it really be too expensive to get in someone with expertise in lingerie or construction...

Have missed ITT this week - how are costumes looking for this weekend?

Natalie's dress was peppermint green one shouldered swimsuit covered by net curtain and Anya's got the memorial toilet roll cover dress in peach which hung on the model really badly and the bottom was completely different to the top - different material, different colour, different style and Sophie is wearing that godawful mix of neons job lot that they've had every week so far, mixed in a really fetching patchwork.

There we go, fashion watch by Alli done.

I actually quite liked Natalie's dress. All right, yes, it's classic rumba sheath-with-a-split-to-crotch but I think the colour will look fabulous with her skin and I even didn't dislike the crystalled-one-shoulder.

Of course, I may feel quite differently once I've seen it on a real person not a dummy!

Couple of good '' uns and a couple well dodgy tonight judging by rehearsal photos

From the BBC's dress rehearsal shots I'm liking the following: Susanna's and Natalie's dresses. Intrigued by the colour of Vanessa's dress - can she wear the dress rather than it wear her? Best dressed couple look to be Deborah and Robin - her dress looks very beautiful.

Dislike Sophie's samba garb and what's with the Japanese little kitty look for Abbey?

On another note: why does Kristina bother - just dance naked love. We know you want to,

Abbey looks cute ; yes even with the socks lol.
Suzannah looks like she is going to a Christmas party.
I'm sorry I find Sophie's samba dress awful; All these neons colours.....Ughhhh !!!
Vanessa's dress isn't very flattering
The ballroom dresses look beautiful though.

Kristina's handkerchief needed to be a bit bigger...

Deborahs dress was lovely. I really like the blending of colours around the mid section. Very flattering and i think she felt confident wearing it

I think the designing of dresses is better, but the actual finishing isn't brilliant. Maybe its because I'm a fairly keen sewist (though I don't really do much dress-making, a lot of it is transferable), but I find things like hanging threads, exposed zips, awkward and visible shaping on bodices etc - all of which were on show tonight - a little haphazard and careless. It's probably due to a lack of time, but it's unfortunate.

More lovely dresses tonight and only a couple of horrors, really didn't like Abbey's get up, she looked like she'd stumbled out of of some Japanese Anime. Sophie's looked like a badly designed Christmas cracker.
I loved Karen's Paso dress as well, Rachel's, Susanna's would have been better without the Chrismas tree tinsel bits and Natalie's was a gorgeous colour. I noticed that Fiona had a different dress on for the actual live show than she was wearing in the dress rehearsal, preferred the blue one from the dress than the pink one.
I also loved Deborah's dress and loved the colour of Vanessa's dress but I don't think it flattered her.
