Difference in Tuners
Hello.
I am looking at purchasing myself a new TV set. I have it narrowed down to two choices of an LG model and a Samsung model. The tuner listed in the description for each is:

LG - Freeview HD DVB-S2 - general purpose satellite tuner
Samsung - Freeview HD
What is the difference in the two types of tuner? Thanks in advance. |

The LG has a free to air High Definition Satellite tuner in addition to the terrestrial HD Freeview tuner that both TV's have.
To use the satellite tuner you will need a satellite dish in addition to your normal aerial. For example a sky dish aligned on 28.2E will give you all these channels on the LG TV http://en.kingofsat.net/freqs.php?&p...q&filtre=Clear |

True. I do have a satellite dish, but if I were to move then at least I will still get my freeview!
