Which was better viewing. I thought strictly thats my view of course but x factor just felt so unconftable watching it. The way things were done i thought was cruil and very harsh just to gain ratings.

    Totally different shows.

You may as well compare Neighbours with the Sopranos

Strictly is a proper entertainment show with a level of professional quality that is required on Saturday nights that doesn't rely on forced drama and storylines based around the judges and not the contestants.

The X Factor is the opposite of the above.

Me neither. X Factor sounds like mass murder at a cattery.

Can't stand prissy dancing, so X Factor it will always be.

The only person in our family who watches Strictly is my 77-yr-old dad. I'll maybe find it entertaining in 30+ years' time then. :D

    Detest both shows.

Could give a fook about Karaoke singers or people mincing their way around a dancefloor.

I've had enough of the pair of them but Strictly used to be the much classier show until their audience, too became encouraged to behave like Broadmoor inmates on a day out.

I don't like either of them. X Factor is just ridiculous and Strictly is too stuffy and boring. I hate ballroom dancing. Maybe I'll like it in 40 years' time but at the moment I can't stand it :D

Strictly. I haven't enjoyed the X Factor for several years, everything about it feels very contrived and fake. I'm surprised more people haven't seen through it yet to be honest.

"Good dancing is the vertical version of a horizontal activity" ;)

    SCD.

As far as I'm concerned, anyone who enjoyed XF's disgusting boot camp twist basically supports bullying. For all its flaws The Voice is better than XF because it does not descend into a premeditated Jeremy Kyle/Jerry Springer/WWE farce that is an insult to any sane person's intelligence and morality.

Totally agree with you. BBC & ITV are really getting desperate, trying to copy each other's shows.

Even QVC is getting more entertaining these days!
