Miley Cyrus has always been more of an albums artist in the UK (and I say that loosely and even her albums have never been big sellers - apart from Breakout going platinum).

However, this year has seen her sky-rocket in terms of success in the UK, which makes me wonder if upcoming album Bangerz, may garner her a first UK top 5 album, potentially even number 1? What do you guys think?

P.S I know there is a lot of Miley haters so keep the negative comments in your head and save yourself some time lol

i cant believe what she said about the album, even if it was somewhat taken out of context. its difficult to call, because i see her more of a singles act really. however, there is no denying that she is reaching a new level with her profile and there is a lot of media interest in her, albeit mostly not particularly positive.

with two smash hit singles, the album should comfortably surpass the sales of her last album and hdd have predicted 200k+ sales for the first week in the us.

in terms of the uk, she could have another platinum album if the singles are as good as "we cant stop". i think "wrecking ball" will do very well on the week of the album release here from people cherry picking the song and amazon are releasing the single the day before the album.

Same as Taylor Swift #1 good run due to slew of successful singles 300K-600K sales.

#1 with 60k sold first week. She may get a double whammy with 'Wrecking Ball' when its released next Sunday.

In the long run, the album will hit at least Platinum sales (300k).

The previews sound really good. And that's coming from someone who isn't her biggest fan.

Not a fan either but those tracks sound really good. Very experimental but with great lyrics too.Not saying she wrote them because she obviously didn't but I'll definite be adding this to my collection.

The previews of 4x4, Fu and My Darlin' all sound great.

She'll easily go number 1 in the USA and UK based on the controversy of this year alone.

'We Can't Stop' and 'Wrecking Ball' are huge hits, so she has the #1 debut and the gold certification on lock. Longetivity depends on her single choices and the promo, but I think she can do it.

Well despite a huge amount of albums out the same week as Miley's, I think she'll get the highest new entry that week, certainly top three, her stiffest competition of the new releases for next Monday should be Chase And Status

I don't think she will get number 1.

But, I do think, that it will reach top 5, and have a string of hits.

It's only going up against Lucy Spraggan and Anna Calvi really but neither of them I expect to do very well at all.

It depends whether Dizzee Rascal, Haim and Justin Timberlake do so well this week that one of them is Number one next week as well

But I really think BANGERZ will be Number one

This. I predict over 300k. Well it's nearly winter music sales wise so 500k.
