Connecting the plots (spec for christmas 2013 special)

If it is true that
Spoiler
cybermen
will be involved in 11s last adventure that kind of makes sense.
Spoiler
Rory had to confront cybermen in AGMGTW. They told him where demons run
was. If we also see the return of
Spoiler
Madame Kovarian and the silence
that would tie in with NIS.
How did the cybers know the doctor was still alive ?. While battling for control of 11s brain the deleted records were mentioned. It would be about time for the truth to come out.
11 should have known it would when he faked his "death" and non exsistence. Think he will go down fighting though. Whoever or whatever shows up for his last christmas. 12 will come into his own next year. Universe doesn't have to carry on without the doctor just yet.

Love this theory

Hey!

...That would make perfect sense!

I love that theory a bit of a lot. Plus, what a weird and unlikely alliance! I suppose cybermen would be able to see the silence? They could upgrade themselves. No eyepatch required. Just install the drive and kerpow. Fits perfectly with their new abilities.

Yes, that's brilliant! A great, exciting, surprising but completely illogical mash up of villains. Inspired. And the new cyberdesign is beautiful, too, so that'd be good for a Christmas special. I hope you're right.

If the cybermen are in the Xmas special I hope this time it's better than that awful nightmare in silver episode. They should come across as scary like the Borg not like a joke.

In NMIS, Mr Clever said the Dr could be 'reconstructed' from the hole he left in time & space, and that blue-light blinking cybermite escaped at the end, presumably with all the knowledge it could handle.

You have to think it will play out in a future episode/arc.

Not to mention the part in a Nightmare In Silver when the Doctor said to Mr Clever he could regenerate to get him and the cybermen insect things out of his brain, and then he says something along the lines of 'if I regenerate with you in my head, who knows what I'll end up with next.' This would be a nice hint leading to Matt's regeneration explaining why Capaldi's Doctor might be more difficult like Moffat suggested.

Half a day later - that was meant to say logical. Whoops.
