I used to really enjoy the game back when I first downloaded it. I'd play it until my battery ran out, charge my phone back up and go for another session but since they updated the career mode it's become rather boring. Is anyone else feeling the same way?

Back before he update I saw the Bugatti Veyron and although it costs a lot of money I was going to save up and buy it but after they updated it you can't do that anymore. You now need to unlock cars by progressing through the career and getting to that section, which for the Bugatti, is the very last bloody one! Now I'm not being funny but it's going to take me ages to do that as I don't have much time to play as it is but I disagree with the update anyway. It's made the game linear and stale.

I have an idea for a new mode but I can't even be bothered to go to the forums to suggest it as I probably won't play the game anymore anyway.

70+ views but no replies? Not a very talkative lot are we?

In another note adding to the thread - it's funny how to get people back to playing the game they are offering you free RS (currency). They don't offer you much because in reality you could make more than what they give you easily but it's strange how they have chosen to reward you for nothing.

I think. THINK. It's because nobody is interested. 70 people looked at this. Not one cared. I bet you feel pretty lonely right now.

Not really, but it just goes to show that people here are not open minded at all. That's not just for this sub-forum, it's for all the others too.

rr3

Hi tescojeans,

There is a need for a 'Real Racing 3' forum here. Their own requires not only registration but other information. If like me you have hundreds of passwords to maintain you will not want an extra one.

I leave it to you to create a forum for RR3 directly under GAMES. it will be easier to find than your entry.

Why is a Digital Spy forum needed at all? Because RR3 has some very good features and some awful ones.
Hopefully this forum will make suggestions supported by facts and logic and EA will pay attention to them.

On top of that it can be used to practice organising your life by organising your strategy for playing RR3. For this purpose you must not play it 'by ear' but write down instructions to yourself on how to get the result you are after step by step. If it works then you can publish it here and others can try to improve on it.

Having worked out the steps for parts of the game and looked at other peoples ideas here you can link them up so that eventually someone could quickly master the game by following the Step by Step Guide.

I started with an early version and it was great. It was the first time I had played a game with something like a real steering wheel. I set it to steer just by tilting my Ipad2 left and right. I set the accelerator to full and have managed most runs without using the brake. It has all been free. Yes it was a bad move when they restricted which races and cars you could use. The EA announcement of the free RR3 on Digitalspy makes great play of features which they have since dropped or ruined. The prizes are pitiful. Even winning loads of races I have to waste time running races I have mastered, just to earn enough money to upgrade or buy cars. Still the good points so far outweigh the bad though i am not sure i would have persisted if i had started with the current version.

Example 'Steps'.

Note all your observations for later reference. For example:
First time you do a race note the event and the number of the race as given in that row of little boxes that appear at the bottom of the page. Also add a decimal number to the race number because each number can represent more than one race. e.g
Road Car International 19.2
is easier to write than
Road car International/Supafly World .Cup Round2/ Cup,Silverstone,International Circuit.
( EA please assign short IDs to every race.)
At the end of the race access the list of the leaders showing the car model they were using. Now against the race ID write the name of the car model which has won most or all the races. Now you need not waste your time racing with models that never win that particular race. I even upgraded one car to maximum only to find it did not reach the 'performance requirement'. A waste of hardearned money and gold. luckily i play FREE.
