Roy Harper
He's an acquired taste for sure, but he has a new album which is rather good....what's your fave Roy Harper song?
Another tricky one as there are so many...but here's just one of mine. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3AAxXyqOzg |

I like 'One Of Those Days...' too. My favourite is probably 'Another Day', but I also love 'The Same Old Rock', in fact most of the 'Stormcock' album.

RikScot - I've just had a listen to 'Time Is Temporary' and read a few reviews of the album. Definitely going to get this one now - cheers for that!

Another Day has to be one of the saddest songs I've ever heard and also one of my favourites. I love that song so much that all his other work struggles to match it.

Whatever happened to the convention that a topic title of just someone's name meant they had died?

Kate Bush chose that as one of her favourite songs when she was on the Paul Gambaccini show on Radio 1, doing a kind of Desert Island Discs, way back in December 1980.

Here's the first song of his I ever heard and I couldn't find it for ages. I originally heard it on a Harvest sampler album called, Picnic - A Breath Of Fresh Air and happily, someone has now uploaded it onto YouTube.
