Is anyone else looking forwards to seeing them tonight? I certainly am. They look like superstars and I think will do really well, there is a gap for them in the market. MSK aren't exactly setting the charts alight and the Sugababes split ages ago. I'm excited for them.

Is there really a gap for them in the market? Little Mix was manufactured remember and they are about to release their second album soon with the first single released.

You also have The Saturdays who are releasing singles left, right and center at the moment. You`ve got Stooshe,Neon Jungle.

They might just be another Bellamie

^ I don't think so. Little Mix are more POP orientated, they've established themselves as a Pop group.

Neon Jungle are hardly setting the charts alight and Stooshe as much as I love them, it looks like they're going to be one hit wonders ( I seriously hope they won't be though)

These girls have star quality and I think they will do very well.

If i can remember Neon Jungle had a top ten single..so i wouldnt under estimate them yet.

How do you know this manufactured girl group isn't going to be pop orientated?

I don't think there's a gap for them in the less-pop orientated market for them as we already have MKS and HAIM

I doubt the fact that there's 3 of them will make them fit in a different market than any of the girl groups we already have

It's a fair point, but most people were predicting Little Mix to be the first elimination. They were written off before they even started. Neon Jungle haven't really taken off, so if Miss Dynamix aim for an urban pop sound, it's possible that they could do really well. (We know for a fact that the band has extremely strong vocalists in, like Little Mix)

MKS are an odd case as there was hype for them, but it faded away. I think we need to wait until they drop the album before we write them off just yet

Haim are doing very well for themselves with their most recent single and their album is out tomorrow and I think they're sure of a top 5 album

But you didn't answer my question. How do you know they are not pop orientated? And if they really are not, I can't really see them coming anywhere near winning the X-Factor since those are mostly teens voting and they like pop bands

It's all based on their auditions, but I definitely think their style will be more throwback En Vogue, Destiny's Child and The Supremes. They'll be more Urban Pop....

Is it bad I don't want them or any group to win or even do well just because I don't want to give Gary fecking Barlow the satisfaction?

As much as I hate him and I'll probably hate that satisfaction feeling that Gary has...I really want to see this girl group do well.

Yes it will be similar to what you said - I'm sure SeSe can rap as well. En Vogue are a proper female R+B vocal harmony group

Sweet Suspense and Manufactured Girl Group for the win

I said this in another site
In XFUK the producers/judges also did form a girl group and spies/sources have said they were incredible/amazing etc now XFUS has formed Sweet Suspense as well and the spies are saying the same thing.

I just find it interesting. Possible TCOs from both shows? Atleast for the groups?
Aren't Little Mix trying to be more RnB this new era? Though Move is pure pop I thought I read that they were trying ot be more Rnb this era. So they might be in that market as well

I think their is defiantly a market for this type of girl group as long as they go with a sort of Destiny Child RnB sound.

Dont see the need to manufacture a girl group, there have been several decent groups auditioning this year, why not give them a chance? They split up two groups that were good enough to make the top6 and tried to get one girl to leave her group. There have been much worse groups making the lives in the past than many of the ones auditioning this year. Even Silver Rock could have stayed together and perharps added in another contestant - both girls were good singers and had the potential to make a decent girlgroup there.

That may work but we don't want a cloned DC group again. I remember Lisa Lopez of TLC cloned a R+B group called Blaque (who were just like mini-TLC group), who had the odd US Top 10 hit but fell by the wayside as people kept saying they were too much like TLC. I want this new group to bring something new to the table

I love Blaque!! Didnt one of the members recently pass away? They had so much potential but sounds there was alot of problems within the band.

It's defiantly pop for sure though. Still I think wit Little Mix trying to cover the RnB market it may be hard for the new manufactured girl group to compete with them. Still hope they do well.

5H also said they were gonna do more RnB in the future

Little Mix are much more commercial pop than R+B

Hopefully all the cute girl singers that have been dumped will be crowbarred into a few nice looking groups
