Which Category is the best this year?
I think the categories are very well spread this year and I think it could be a close contest. Which category is looking the most promising for you and why? Who is your winner so far??

The strongest category for me this year is the overs . The person I see winning is Tamara or Joseph

The Overs. The girls are great too. Both are miles ahead of the groups and boys.
They won't win though. |

Overs are the strongest mainly down to Andrea.

I agree that the Overs are really good this year, but I can't see them winning. I think it's a given that the Girls have got it this year, which is a shame as there's a lot of talent in this category this year!
I'd love to see Sam and Joseph through... it's too hard to pick a third! |

Toss up between the boys and the overs.
It's easier to decide the weakest category - which IMO is the groups. |

The girls. The overs also suddenly have come from nowhere and look really strong, but I think they've backed the wrong horses in terms of who got the most airtime.

the overs are the strongest they've been in a while but I'd still say overall the girls are better. I don't think the boys are particularly strong, Nicholas was a stand out tonight though.
I find it difficult to judge the quality of the groups until live shows because we never seem to see very much of them. One of the girl groups in the final 6 I feel like we've seen sing about 2 lines in total. |

I put the groups and the reason I chose that was because first all the groups have potential to be great and secondly, they have a great mentor to guide them to success, specifically someone who has the experience from being in one of the biggest boy bands the UK has produced. I don't think we should rule them out just yet.
The weakest for me is the Boys. |

Girls only because of Abi Alton.
As a whole it'd probably be the groups.

Girls because of Hannah Barrett & Abi Alton.
Over 25s because of Sam Bailey. The groups are awful, the boys are completely forgettable. All this may change but that's part of the fun. I hope Shelley Smith doesn't get through, I don't think I could watch her on it every week. Same goes for Crying Joseph. |

The girls by far, second would be Over's, then boys (they are really weak though) then groups (same as the boys cat)

If you space the talent over the whole category; the girls and the boys.
However there's two groups and two overs I think have talent to carry them over as potential winners. |

I like the girls, and they are likeable which counts for a lot, the kiddies will love the groups so they will probably do well.

I voted girls but I also think the groups are strong . Think Gary will do a great job with them too.

From the poll it looks like the boys will be out first... I agree with other posters on the forum though who say the groups sounded weak. I wonder if they'll pick up at Judges' Houses...

Toss up between the girls and the overs.
I think Hannah has a good chance of going far alongwith Tamera. Sam Bailey will do well and possibly finish ahead of the final and possibly Kingsland Road as they are now known. Not holding out much for the rest |
