He seems to be getting quite a mauling on here since last night. His attitude may not have been ideal but it may well have been just him not controlling his emotions very well. On his vocals, I think he should be in the live shows.

So do I, I don't hate him and quite rate him as a vocalist..and fancy him something rotten..

Objectively speaking, his behaviour last night was more than lamentable, but he wouldn't be the first person to "go to pieces," in the process..
Maybe it's because he's one of the more mature contestants and we expect a little bit more in the way of dignity..

But this annual blub-fest has been going on for many a year now..
We're a long way from the dignity of Andy-the Bin Man-Abrams..and I'd say the show is far the worse for it.

Rich.

I don't hate him but I don't think much of him as a singer

People tend to forget the emotions and the stress some of these contestants are under, especially the once who are desperate for success. His reaction is simply human, no one should be hated simply because their emotions got the better of them on a TV show.

That's exactly what seems to be happening. He addressed the situation on Twitter.

I don't hate him but after judges' houses I don't ever want to see him again. I don't suppose we will.

I haven't seen any posts of hatred directed to Joe. This thread is just manufactured nonsense from the OP. There are a lot of people, myself included, who think he's a karaoke singer and a bit of a wally, but hatred is going miles too far. I don't care about him enough to hate him.

To me, and I suspect to a lot of other people his reaction last night was that of a person who was of the opinion that he was a shoe-in to get to the judge's houses

The phrase is "shoo-in" - I'm not correcting you to be bitchy but this seems to be a common misunderstanding in these parts.

And you are correct!

He is so fit. I wouldn't be surprised if they booted him out for that alone. The show seems to have a vendetta against good looking guys this year.

His accent renders any vestiges of attractiveness redundant.

I wouldn't say I'm a fan of his, but I don't dislike him.

Speak for yourself

I find, it and him considerably more attractive than anything I've seen on the show in years.

But then, I have to reach all the way back to Shayne Ward, in order to find anyone I've found close to Joseph....well, perhaps with a bit of Olly Murs, along the way.

Rich.

Very very unremarkable singer. Dont get why he is there....except maybe cos he's got a cute son who was used as a good sympathy /connect with public strategy.

Even if he doesn't make it past Judge's Houses he'll probably be brought back as a wildcard (if they are doing that this year)

Wouldn't waste a good emotion on him. Generic singer, cry baby and all round pillock in my view

I do not hate him...He has not had a very good edit this year.. i am wondering if it is to do with the backlash the show had last year over sending Rylan to JH instead of him?
I actually thought he was better last year than this year.. not sure why as you would expect him to be better this year...
Not too keen on him pimpng his cute little boy though, but we all know you need a angle to get into the live shows... Judging by twitter and Facebook he is loved.. not seen too much hate for him except on here which is what you would expect as it is quite a negative forum in general..

Rich you dirty so and so! I do declare you'd slip him your magic wand, tut tut. And he 'with child' as they say.

I don't hate him in the slightest. I find the whole "I have a kid" story tiring but to be truthful, that's the producers more than likely.
