Caroline I have been waiting sooooooo long to give you a song by The Honey Trees and I thought that now was a better time than any to do it. The vocals just suit your voice to perfection and the vibe that was created through the song was absolutely sensational my darling. This is, for me, your best performance of the series and is just everything you are as a singer artist and basically everything you need to be. I absolutely adore you and this performance was absolutely brilliant my lovely girl! Bravo Caroline, bravo to you!

WOW Todd. That was just incredible. I picked that because it has a bit more of a happy and cheerful tune and feel about it. I thought you personally delivered very well. Now as its the semi final I am usually a lot nicer as you kind of have to be but Todd what was that? This just didn’t seem to suit you in the slightest vocal wise and the whole song for you just felt really awkward and it didn’t seem to jell well with you. I mean Dave Barnes is a great artist but that song for you just isn’t that good of a song, it basically abandoned the folk/countryness of your voice and turned you into a blues style artist which is disappointing. Not a good performance but hopefully you can bring it back with your other one tonight.

Mary N’Diaye

Well Mary after your bottom 2 appearance from last week I knew it was time to break out the lovely Sharon Doorson and give you a performance which would get you back into the competition! This is you as a singer and a performer and was just an absolutely amazing performance to get the audience on their feet, as you’re basically the only performer who actually does this in the competition, but this was an absolutely sensational performance from you miss Mary N’Diaye. You came back from the bottom and ended up on top as the old saying goes. You gave it 100% and one thing you definitely don’t fail at is being a brilliant performer, bravo Mary!

Mary

Mary last week you found yourself in the bottom 2 and I think it was right in my opinion even though you were good. This week was good, but again I feel like it was just the same performance as most of the other weeks. I know you are a dance artist and dance is what you do best but I feel like I have seen it all before. It was still a good choice for you, but I am a little bit bored of you I am afraid. I hope you pull it out of the bag with your second song!!!

Ohhhhhhh Karl you had all the ladies going again. They all thought you were singing it to them, and your vocals were great yet again. Like Todd, I have really enjoyed working with you (And by the way. You are the best males I have ever worked with). Really great performance again Karl, and I can`t wait to see your next song which is even better than this. Can not wait!!!

So now by Pingu’s logic since Karl does this every week its predictable .Now this was just an okay performance for me Karl but let me tell you why quickly. The artists Pingu is picking for you are ones that seem to be the same type of artists that I came across when browsing youtube videos for Mackenzie last year and going on a side bar adventure as they say. Ironically I came across this one whilst doing this a few days ago and bet that you would perform a song by this guy soon. Nailed it! Anyway it was just an okay performance as there was no real climax to the performance and it just was a performance was sort of there. You did well with the song but like I said I do want better from you tonight Karl as it is the semi final.

As usual Miss Celia Pavey gives one of the best performances of the night and again makes my jaw drop in complete aww of you. I don’t know what it is about you but you just managed to pull at my heartstrings and make me feel something that none of the other contestants can do because you just immediately connect with the song and give a performance that is unlike any other. I am amazed by you each and every week and you’re just an absolutely freaking joy to mentor miss Celia Pavey and I hope to see you here again next week in the freaking final my girl! Miss Celia Pavey the Voice Factor Sensation!

Celia I have loved every single performance from you which shows a lot.You have gown and grown every week. That performance was just beautiful, and I can imagine it being in a Romance film or even a kids fairy tale movie. It really was amazing, and I am so happy you are in this competition. Is there any stopping you?

Caroline after your last performance I was expecting big things. I felt that the vocals suited you quite well, but the song overall just didn`t suit you. It was just a very strange song in my opinion and something that I couldn`t really see on your album. Everyone will probably disagree as usual, but I don`t think you will go anyway. You have been great throughout but all I will say is good luck!!!

Well this is something I have been looking forward to you singing for absolutely ages Caroline as it is dark, quirky and orchestral which is again something I have been waiting to see you do in this competition for many a week. This performance Caroline was absolutely fantastic and was a great way to go back to your original performance at the start of the series but in a less acoustic setting. It was everything you are as a singer and was another fantastic performance Caroline and if you’re not here next week I will eat my hat. Caroline Glaser the brilliant singer!

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh Todd let me just compose myself..... Okay I am ready My little country/folk/acoustic rock phenomenon. That was just beautiful, and it was like a song at a campfire. I am in tears. Look what you have done to me Mr Kessler. It really was like an angel from heaven coming down to sing to me. It suited you and your vocals very well, and I am just so proud of you. The public have voted you through this far, and I just hope they continue to and get you to the final. You truly deserve it, and you have worked so hard. And I am sorry Jack but PLEASE VOTE FOR TODD KESSLER!!!

Anyway Todd this was an average performance and unfortunately for me there have been better tonight just in the first round. The song was just an okay song for you and didn’t really suit your vocals that well at all and like I said we’ve already had better performances from people in the first round. I’ll give credit to Pingu for finding a really unknown artist but I unfortunately cannot give you as much praise as I would like to in the semi final as like I said it was just an average performance. Sorry Todd but bravo all the same.
