Tamera even admitted to it...she does strike as me the type of girl to do whatever it takes to get what she wants.

Cheryl punched a woman in the face - a toilet attendant doing her job - because the woman didn't give her a lollipop. She was convicted of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. The jury's verdict was unanimous.

You may well be a fan of Cheryl and it was a long time ago but let's not pretend it was some kind of mutual and equal thing. It wasn't.

I do like Cheryl.. but i am not a fan of that episode..
Don't think Chezza had said you give me a lollypop or i am gonna beat you up..
and i think the actual bullying with the Tamara episode was when she demanded her feet kissed on a packed train... So it was 2 episodes for me..
that said many many people will forget this if she sings in tune and does not forget her lyrics, as it is a racing certainty she will be given amazing feedback..
i do think what Cheryl did was bad.. but she denies it happened how it did i believe? not 100% on the details.. where as Tamara says it happened exactly as reported.. Either way both unsavory incidents... and i am not down playing what chezza did.. i am just saying i personally believe Tamara's is worse.. and there is a lot more publicity and awareness of bullying around today.. with all the suicides cos of it.. i find it hard a girl they feel is capable of performing to millions, is not smart enough to know bullying in any form never mind of this nature is not acceptable..She knew what she was doing and just sorry cos she got caught...

I take it that you know her and her family personally then?

What gave you the indication i knew either of them?
i do not know either or their victims.. but ive read the effect it has had on Tamara's victim when she gave her account.. i have also seen what effect Bullying can have on someone and how it can lead to tragedy!
You seem to want to brush under the carpet her assault.. as though it is something everybody does on their way to growing up, and that her actions have not left scars and possibly a lifetime of pain for her poor victim?
Personally i see her as a Bully, nasty one at that.. but maybe it is cos i am against bullying and do not find a excuse for people who have committed these acts..i just hope they spend their lifetime regretting it, like some victims spend a lifetime remembering it.. and some have their lifetime shortened cos of it..

None of us are perfect, and we all make mistakes. I believe in giving people a second chance in life especially when they are very young.

Lets hope there will be no one to hate. Why should we have to hate anyone anyhow?

I don't want anyone to hate but I would like at least one to take the p***s out of.

I hope Nicholas McDonald is the hate figure this year

In fairness to Tamara, while she did get some outlandish praise(Potential to be as good as Leona or Alex? I don't hear it, and don't think they did her any favours putting her in that category so soon, whenshe is more like Rihanna or the late Aaliyah, which I don't mean as an insult in any way as Ilike both of their music) and bad press, and while her technique could do with a lot of work, unlike Katie W and Katie B, she actually seems to truly be a diamond in the rough so to speak, with a good voice with some interesting qualities to it and the makings of a technically notably good singer, and great image and stage presence.

She could be set up as this year's scapegoat, but I hope she isn't.I also hope she handles it with grace if she is.

I could see her having success if she is given the right guidance, time to grow, and opportunities.

It could be Tamera but I think it might be Joseph Whelan

I hope not then he'll have to stay in for some ridiculous period of time.

He doesn't deserve to be, that's for sure.

I don't liek the word "hate", save that for something worth hating. Perhaps we should have a "meh" figure - mind you, that would probably be over-populated

Since the incident is in the past it shows what kind of person she was... People do grow up and learn from their mistakes and change, unless you have any evidence that she still behaves in that way then let the past be the past.

If I'm honest, dafydd's spoilers are normally more reliable so we'll see

Excellent Post ChloeBobbyLexi and you are right about what bullying can lead to and you only have to read the papers to see so many young lives destroyed through someone's else idea of a bit of fun

Tamera reminds me of Rihanna and seems to a similar attitude to her.

Is hate figure the correct term anyways? I always thought people viewed them as boo hiss pantomime type villains anyhow.
