Lets get this straight, she didn't flop! She has just been rather cruelly axed by the producers. To flop would be if she'd ever been given a chance to show what she can do in the lives. And flop she would not!

Well she has flopped and you need to accept it. If she can't even make the live shows after FOUR times then there is something incredibly wrong. She hasn't got the star quality factor, she's boring as ****.

Abi's not boring? Yeah they're completely different types of acts, but Janet was also my favourite during her series. It's called variety.

Abi is very boring...she's a one trick pony. I think she'll struggle with a lot of theme weeks which this year will be in favour of Tamera, Hannah and Miss Dynamix by the look of things.

You're assuming there that the judges put through the right singers every time. Sophie Habibis instead of Melanie in 2011......hello?

I'm not a fan of Abi but even I know there's no way in hell she's getting voted out in the first week .

Abi will be around for a long time, probably high up in the voting before fizzling out around 4th or 5th. It's what always happens with her "type".

Now stacey some very good acts have been sent home at bootcamp, never mind JH's. e.g Andrea from the overs a dynamic great singer and very original. I don't know what Louis was thinking with his choices.
It does not mean anyone of them is a flop, it means they did not suit the agenda.I would not like any of the singers to think that about themselves. I don't really see how Abi is boring just because she doesn't have the loudest of voices. It's called artistry, and as Stacey said, variety.
In fact, I'd even go as far as to say that she's further away from boring than the likes of Tamera, Hannah. We've seen countless similar girls to them, we've only ever had two super quirky girls before, Janet and Diana, and even then Abi is considerably different to those two, a lot more folky.

She hasn't even reached the live shows yet and you're calling her a one-trick pony, really? Give her a chance to actually prove herself before you start judging her like that.

There is no such thing as the "right" singers. The show needs some variety and Abi is the unique one in Nicole's category. How many other singers are there like Melanie out there? I'd say a lot, there is just nothing special about her that makes her stand out amongst the other girls in the competition. The only reason she's made it this far is because it's her 4th time. She needs to move on because she's simply not interesting enough for the show.

Of course they have, but everybody's choices will differ. Last year people were mad over Nicole putting Rylan through to the live shows (I was beyond happy) but it's ridiculous because the show would be boring as **** if it was all the same just loud singers who stand in the middle of the stage. It needs fun, excitement, entertainment and versatility.
How do we actually KNOW that Melanie was invited back? Even if she was; if she doesn't reach their standards then that's not their problem it's hers. She didn't have to go back, it was her own decision.
I loved Janet but I prefer Abi already, I think she'll impress more people at the live shows, she's an extremely talented girl.
