I seriously don't get the love, she sings like very note has been written down for her there is no passion,emotion or personality there at all! Her voice is good but it's not anything different or better than Leona or Alexandra!

I agree. I think there's a reason she never made it before and the reason she's gone so far this year is because she has applied so many times and the fact X factor approached her and it would be cruel to do so if she was going to be sent home again.

If at 15, she can sing one of Whitney Houstons biggest numbers so well and her voice is much bigger now, I'm confident that if she was given bigger songs, she'd be mind blowing. But instead she gets given songs like Diamonds. And then it leaves everybody thinking she's average. There is nothing average about this girls talent /

I have to agree. Nobody in my 'real world' thinks that much of her, yet from the posts on here you'd think she was some kind of X Factor Goddess.

Not saying I don't think she deserves to go through, or that it wouldn't be cruel if she got sent home again, but this forum certainly does have her on a pedestal.

I think she's very good and I also think she's gorgeous but quite plain, so I'd really love to see what XF would do with her look for live shows. I just don't think she's the be all and end all. And I certainly don't think her previous experience with XF should grant her a guaranteed ticket to live shows. If you guys found out that somebody other than her had been guaranteed a spot in the lives, you'd all be fuming.

Yeah she's so boring with an average voice. The thing is i haven't heard anyone in real life give a sh*t about her, just some weird sad cult which has emerged on this forum that will cease to exist when she falls short of the live shows (again).

She lives not to far away from me here in Belfast and she got through to the live finals ......get used to seeing her all the way to winning it.

If you think people giving their opinion of Melanie in a positive light as treating her like a x factor goddess, then you are dismissing their opinions in favour of your own. On balance there are lot more negative posts about Melanie than positive ones on the MF. If anything you would have thought by the threads on here that she couldn't sing a note and deserved no support at all. A bit of levity would be nice. IMO.

I am the same about Tamera and Abby,its like WTF. I dont rate either of them and I hate screechy, warbling R&B singers.People here calling her plain, whats Abby then. The show is about singing not appearance in any case.

I listened to Melanie on youtube and she has a great voice but she is too good for the xfactor pop thingy. She belongs in musical theatre, where her voice would be appreciated. Noone think anyone deserves to be there because they auditioned a few times, they think people should not be invited back to be exploited and humiliated. If she was not for them , montage her and cut her at bootcamp, not pimp her and give her hope. Just to see her breakdown at JH's for ratings..

We all have our opinion and taste and people forget that. Where singers and music is concerned, people always like different things hence the variety of artists on the music scene from JayZ to Michael Buble, all successful..
Most posts I see about Melanie are negative.

She would have more chance on The Voice to be honest.

If she got to the lives, she WILL win. And this is why she has never been put through to the lives.

The Irish would get behind her like no act before. She is amazing and they will ensure she wins.
