The Carters (Mick, Linda, their children and their dog) are moving in the Vic.

I've been reading tweets on twitter and in here, that Shirley will move in the Vic. Why do people think that?

There is NO room for Shirley to move in the Vic. Shirley will go to the Vic a lot now because of her family but will she move in? Heck no!!! (My opinion),

Shirley is NOT worth living in the Vic (sorry to the Shirley fans). A brand new fresh family is needed in the Vic but Shirley shouldn't stay in the Vic.

Thoughts?

There is no room for Shirley..

Shirley can live in one of the flats with Tina or live in the BB.

I can see Shirley getting a job in the Vic, but living there, no way! Linda wouldn't want Shirley living in the Vic because she and Shirley don't get on well.

Why not? If her family is good enough then shirley is and if shes being head of the family and apart of some big s/ls then she kinda has to

Jean was good enough to live there. Theres no rule of who can live in the vic

Of course not, but don't forget, they have 3 children living in the Vic.

A brand new fresh family is needed..

The Vic got 3 bedrooms...

Jean, Alfie, Kat and Mo lived in the Vic and they all had their own bedroom. If Shirley does move in the Vic, what will happen to Tina? I doubt they will put all of the Carters there. They will probably put Mick's family there only.

I suppose we will find out..

I can't see Shirley living in the Vic. She should live with Tina. Ray and Max's flats are empty, as will Jack and Ava's be soon. Get people out of that B&B.

I wouldn't mind seeing all the Carter's in the Vic like the Mitchell's once were although it would be a bit crammed, would make for a good dynamic.
Failing that I would say Tina and Shirley in Max's old flat once Kirsty's out and Sharon into Jack's old place please!!! Sharon needs stability not just floating around the B&B and 19% owner of an underused club.

Does not mean she would have to live with them, maybe he'd give her money to keep living in the B&B.

No She is not. Its not her Pub so she has no right to live there, the brother and his family come first.

Tina and Shirley both won't fit in there and i can't see one leaving the other on the street.

She does not have too.

If she is going to be head of the family like she was when they were younger she will need to live with them. How can she be that if shes not the articles make out she will be a big part of their s/ls

If shes not living with them she'll end up being a bit part to their s/ls and not the main lead

You don't have to live with someone to be a big part of the show.

None of the Mitchell's live in the Vic now they still show they are big for the show, same as the Beals.

Most of the families live in the same house

I thought Shirley and Mick/Linda were estranged? Or have I got that wrong? So there will probably be some drama between them and they won't live together, at least for the first few months.

They never said she wasn't "good enough".

They made an observation that if Shirley doesn't get on with Linda then she's not very well going to want to live with her.

And considering it will be Mick and Linda's pub, they'll be the ones living there with their kids.

Shirley might move in eventually, but it would be highly ridiculous if she did from the off.

I could see her and Tina living in Max and Kirsty's old flat for a while.

i can see shirley doing it just to wind linda up. Linda would have to live with her which could be more amusing

It isn't about what Shirley would do though, it's going to be Linda and Mick's family home, if his wife doesn't want his sister lodging with them, it doesn't have to happen.

You can't just move into someones house to wind them up If there is that much grief between Shirley and Linda then Linda would just say no to her moving in.

Linda wouldn't have to though. It would be her home, Shirley wouldn't be able to do anything.

Considering she didn't speak to her brother for years because of this wife, I doubt Shirley would be quick to want to move in anyway.

She'll wind her up for sure, that's a given with Shirley. But she won't want to live with her.

Oh shirley could talk her little brother into letting her move in.

This is a soap if david wicks can live with carol and her new bf isnt happy with it then shirley can live with her brother. Ie anything can happen
