It's so odd how basic it is. The final 10 in each category look like they could have been picked off the street, first of all.
There is a three piece band called Next of Kin funnily enough, but a girlband and they're awful but keep getting through.
It's even faker than I remember; the phone calls to the other judges when the other one is clearly not on the other end of the phone, the fact that they say it's 'Simon's House' at the judges houses stage, and show a picture of him and Sinitta on the dressing table (cringe)....just everything.
Also I completely forgot that Maria and Chenai and 4Tune (Series 2) both applied and got through to the final 10 in their respective categories in the first series.
