"Don't worry Tracy, the Croppers will never get custody. He's a loony and she's a man."

Can't remember it exactly but the gist is:

"Good looks are a curse, Deirdre - you and Kenneth should think yourselves lucky."

Mine has already been posted ('he's a loony & she's a man') so here's another

Liz McDonald (tarted up to the nines) - 'I'm going for a job interview'

Blanche - 'Is it a job as a prostitute?'

We could look upon that as a back handed compliment- its almost as if she's saying she's good at everything else!

I shouldn't read these while at work...people are looking at me through the window wondering why I am laughing to myself.

There was a scene with Deidre in the rovers and they were discussing dreary's love life, and in particular, Dev. I can't remember the exact phraseology but she said something like 'well Deidre, you could have had 7 shops but instead you settled for Kenneth.' It was obv. a lot funnier when she delivered the line

lmao ok I have to stop reading this now, god that woman is hilarious. Right back to work. They're all classics, I love Blanche, long may she remain on the cobbles

On hearing Eileen beaming about Todd going back to college. "Pff, college! it will be full 'omos!" PMSL!

Ok, this was soon after Tracy became pregnant and Blanche had been away for a while, I can't remember why, so she didn't know about Tracy's pregnancy. Upon returning and seeing Tracy with her 'bump':

"Well, there's no need to ask what you've been up to while I've been gone!"

I agree , I was sitting here having a quick flick through , and then reading the "Blanche Files" I choked on my coffee before quietly laughing to myself , the other people in the office are giving me some very strange looks and are now definitley of the opinion I'm ready for the psychiatrist's couch. But Blanche is brilliant long may she continue

Don't call Deirdre dreary - she isn't dreary at all. Definately one of the best characters in Corrie.
