Quite a revealing interview.

I might be wrong with this but i think that the finalist are normally given an official X Factor page for Facebook. Is this right?

She wouldn't be doing a TV3 interview if she was through to the lives so we can take it that she is not through

The interview gives away her fate, doesn't it?

What did she say to indicate judges houses are fake.

She said Nicole's house isn't actually Nicole's house. The host laughs and says she's hardly revealing anything the viewers didn't already know, so it was fine for her to reveal that.

Melanie tells her that actually people do believe the judges houses are their houses, but they're not - it's just a set.

She wouldn't share such details if she was through, just like she wouldn't have aired her opinion of the bootcamp twist being cruel if she was through.

She's not stupid enough to piss off the producers by stating such things if she was still on the show. The hope I had for her to be any sort of wildcard is gone after watching that.

I won't be watching the show from now on. Pram, toys, everywhere.

Oh we'll. least she can move forward now and focus on her future. If the producers seen this I don't think she would be welcome back even in the wildcard after she has stated

That part is common knowledge and has been known for years.

She seems very subdued and deflated in this interview. She gave an interview to the same channel just before Judges House and was on top of the world and smiling all the time.

She never said anything bad and she didn't saying anything that anyone else hasn't already said imo.

Far from it in fact : she didn't criticise the show in any way, shape or form nor did she reveal anything about her fate on the programme.

All she said about the bootcamp twist is that she personally found it a tough experience and she felt sorry for the girl she replaced.

I really hope Melanie's made it through, I know what's she's said about the whole experience it doesn't mean she's not through maybe she means so far?

She is, but she looks really down in that interview....all the zest has gone out of her.

I'm still not convinced about Melanie not making it to the lives - I will reserve my judgement for this weekend

I hope she's okay if she's not...she really did have her heart set on the programme.

Maybe she isn't giving anything away so that's why she is behaving as if she is not through (this can happen you know), - it wouldn't surprise me if she was through but I'll wait until this weekend when ALL will be revealed

Regarding the judges not using their own homes, wasn't there one exception to that in the second series, when Sharon took her acts to LA? I'm sure that was the same house which we'd seen in The Osbournes.

i think she is just calm and mature and taking all that's happened in her stride... at least this time she is actually making an impact on the public and that's something she can really build on...
