Looking back at old auditions I have a new respect for the judges
It's a hell of a job .

I'm scouring through some of the worst auditions from years gone by and I'm running out of incontinence pads.

Had to add this one. I knew this guy when he used to sing karaoke in Slough. He was terrible, always doing Michael Jackson impersonations and the crowds would go wild for him but they were all taking the mick and he never realised. Love the way he "was in karaoke finals without looking at the screen".

He's still rubbish, obviously, but for him this is his great shining moment. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=plZim...e_gdata_player If ever proof were needed that you can't polish a turd there it is (although clearly you can roll it in a bit of glitter). |

I always liked the 'Bad performances' cameo...they get to perform on stage, and it's always kind of sweet in a harmless kind of way.

These are the ones I always think of when remembering bad auditions. Both had me in stitches. Don't think anyone is going to be as funny as Robert Unwin (aka Chicken factory man)
